경기지역 고인돌의 성격(Ⅰ)

국문 초록

이 글은 경기지역의 고인돌 유적을 조사한 성과를 토대로 구조적인 몇 가지 특이한 점을 분석한 것이다. 탁자식과 개석식이 결합된 안산 선부동 가-1호 고인돌은 무덤방이 서로 연결되어 있고 축조 시기의 차이가 있어 형식의 변천 과정을 알 수 있는 것으로 보인다. 덮개돌의 크기에 비하여 굄돌의 높이가 1m 이내로 아주 낮은 탁자식 고인돌이 경기지역의 전역에서 조사되었다. 이것은 축조 과정에 소요되는 노동력이 고려된 탁자식 고인돌의 형식 변화와 관련이 있는 것 같다. 특히 이러한 고인돌이 한강 하류지역에 밀집 분포하고 있어 고인돌의 전파 및 탁자식에서 개석식(또는 바둑판식)으로의 변천 문제를 추론해 볼 수 있다. 덮개돌 밑에 길쭉한 판자돌이 뉘여 있는 변형 탁자식 고인돌이 오산 외삼미동, 하남 광암동, 화성 병점동 이외에도 평택 양교리와 안양 신촌 고인돌 유적에서 조사되었다. 이런 고인돌은 위치하는 입지가 구릉 끝자락이고 덮개돌의 형태가 길쭉한 모양(blade-shape)이라는 공통점이 있다. 평택 수월암리 3지점의 4‧10호 탁자식 고인돌은 무덤방이 지상이 아닌 지하에 위치하고 있어 주목된다. 이것은 덮개돌의 크기, 무덤방의 구조 등을 분석한 결과 탁자식 고인돌의 형식 변천과 관련이 있는 것으로 해석된다. 경기지역에서는 하나의 덮개돌 아래에 복수의 무덤방이 있는 고인돌이 안산 선부동 나-2호, 안양 평촌 3‧4호와 신촌 1호 유적에서 조사되었다. 이런 고인돌의 덮개돌은 묘표석이거나 표지석의 기능을 지닌 것으로 보이며 묻힌 사람은 친연성이 강한 집단이었던 것 같다.

영문 초록

This article analyzes some structural peculiarities based on the results of the investigation of dolmen sites in the Gyeonggi area. The dolmen No.Ga-1 in Seonbu-dong, Ansan, which combines a table type and a pit-type, has grave pits rooms connected to each other and seems tto show the process of change in form Table-type dolmens with a height of less than 1m compared to the size of the stone props were investigated throughout the Gyeonggi area. Since these dolmens are densely distributed in the lower reaches of the Han River, it is possible to infer the problem of the propagation of dolmens and the changes in form. Transformed table-type of dolmens were investigated in Oesammi-dong, Osan, Gwangam-dong, Hanam, Byeongjeom-dong, Hwaseong, Yanggyo-ri, Pyeongtaek, and Sinchon dolmens in Anyang. These dolmens have something in common: they are located at the edge of a hill and the shape of the cover stone is a blade-shape. Table-type dolmen No. 4 and No. 10 at 3 points in Suwolam-ri, Pyeongtaek, have grave pits located underground, not on the ground. As a result of analyzing the size of the cover stone and the structure of the grave pit, it is interpreted that it is related to the change in the form of table-type dolmens In the Gyeonggi area, dolmens with multiple grave pits under one cover stone were investigated at the sites of No.Na-2 in Seonbu-dong, Ansan, No. 3 and 4 in Pyeongchon, Anyang, and No. 1 in Shinchon. The cover stone of these dolmens seems to have the function of a tomb stele, and the buried people seem to have been a strong affinity group.
