국문 초록

본 연구는 변화하는 교육장면에서 고등학생의 창의성과 인지적 공감능력을예측하는 주요 변인을 탐색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 한국아동청소년패널조사(KCYPS 2018) 4차년도 데이터 2,265건을 대상으로 랜덤포레스트를 적용하여 중요도지수 및 부분 의존성 도표 분석을 실시하였고, 주요 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 창의성을 예측하는 설명변수는 중요도 지수를 기준으로 ‘사회적 위축‘, ’자아존중감‘, ’학업열의‘, ’월평균 사교육비‘ 등의 변수가 주요 설명변수로 확인되었다. 부분 의존성 도표분석에 의한 변수 간 관계는 ‘사회적 위축’ 관련 변수는 부적 상관관계를 지니는 것으로 나타났지만, ‘자아존중감’, ‘학업열의’, ‘월평균 사교육비’는 정적 상관관계를 지니는 것으로 분석되었다. 인지적 공감능력의 경우 연간 ‘창의적 체험활동 참여 횟수(동아리, 진로)’, ‘주말 부모와 함께 보내는 시간’, ‘진로 관련 대화 빈도(친·인척, 상담교사)’ 등의 변수가 주요 설명변수로 확인되었다. 반응변수와 설명변수의 관계는 ‘창의적 체험활동 참여 횟수(동아리, 진로)’, ‘주말 부모와 함께 보내는 시간’은 정적 상관관계로 나타났지만, ‘진로 관련 대화 빈도’는 부적 상관관계를 지니는 것으로 분석되었다.

영문 초록

This study sought to explore major variables that predict high school students’ creativity and cognitive empathy in the changing high school education scene. To this end, 2,265 data from the fourth year of the Korea Children and Youth Panel Survey (KCYPS 2018) were analyzed using Random Forest, and the main analysis results are as follows. As for explanatory variables predicting creativity, variables such as “social atrophy”, “self-esteem”, “academic enthusiasm”, and “average monthly private education expenses” were identified as major explanatory variables based on the importance index. The relationship between variables by partial dependence chart analysis was found to have a negative correlation with variables related to ‘social atrophy’, but ‘self-esteem’, ‘academic enthusiasm’, and ‘average monthly private education cost’ were analyzed to have a static correlation. In the case of cognitive empathy, variables such as the number of participants in creative experience activities (club, career), weekend time spent with parents, and the frequency of career-related conversations (relatives, counselors) were identified as major explanatory variables. The relationship between the response variable and the explanatory variable was analyzed to have a static correlation between the number of participants in creative experience activities (club, career) and the time spent with parents on weekends, but the frequency of career-related conversations was analyzed to have a negative correlation.
