국문 초록

본 연구는 주희 심성론에서 심 개념을 탐구하고, 그에 따른 도덕 교육 방안을제시한다. 이러한 연구를 위해 먼저 주희의 심 개념을 탐구하여 그 특징과 역할을밝힌다. 이를 통해 주희의 심이 지각능력과 주재하는 역할이 있음을 확인한다. 다음으로 도덕 심리의 관점에서 주희 심 개념이 가진 통합적 성격에 대하여 논의한다. 주희의심은 도덕판단 발현의 기제인 추론과 직관을 통합적으로 운용하고 있으며, 도덕성발현의 과정인 성과 정의 발현과 운용을 주재하고 있다. 이러한 논의를 바탕으로 주희의 심 개념이 도덕 심리 발달을 위한 도덕교육의 핵심이 되어야 함을 확인할 수 있다. 마지막으로 주희의 심 개념에 근거한 도덕 심리 발달을 위해 수양론을 바탕으로 한도덕교육 방안을 제시한다. 먼저 도덕판단 발현 기제의 발달을 위한 교육으로 올바른앎을 위한 격물 교육을 제안한다. 그리고 온전한 도덕성 발현 과정을 위한 과욕 교육을제시한다. 주희 심 개념에 근거한 도덕교육 방안을 제시함으로써 주희 심성론이 고전으로서의 가치를 넘어서, 실제 도덕교육에서 활용될 수 있는 교육이론으로 재조명되기를 기대해 본다.

영문 초록

This study explores the concept of Xin in Zhu Xi’s Xin-Xing-Lun(心性論) and presents moral education measures accordingly. For this study, Zhu Xi’s concept of Xin is first explored and its characteristics and roles are revealed. Through this, it is confirmed that Zhu Xi’s Xin has a role of perceiving and presiding. Next, we discuss the integrated nature of the concept of Zhu Xi’s Xin from the perspective of moral psychology. Zhu Xi’s Xin integrally operates reasoning and intuition, which are the mechanisms for moral judgment, and presides over the expression and operation of Xing(性) and Qíng(情), which are the processes of moral expression. Based on these discussions, it can be confirmed that Zhu Xi’s concept of Xin should be the core of moral education for moral psychological development. Finally, for the development of moral psychology based on Zhu Xi’s concept of Xin, a moral education plan based on the theory of cultivation is presented. First, as an education for the development of the expression mechanism of moral judgment, we propose Géwù(格物) education for correct knowledge. It also presents Guǎyù(寡欲) education for the complete moral expression process. By presenting a moral education plan based on the concept of Zhu Xi’s Xin. we hope that Zhu Xi’s Xin-Xing-Lun(心性論) will go beyond its value as a classic and will be re-examined as an educational theory that can be used in actual moral education.
