국문 초록

본 연구에서는 여러 가지 기체 단원에서의 예비 초등교사와 초등학생의 오개념 및 초등학생의 오개념에 대한 예비 초등교사의 인식을 살펴보았다. 연구 대상은교육대학교 2학년에 재학 중인 예비 초등교사 25명과 초등학교 6학년으로 5개 학급에재학 중인 초등학생 123명이다. 본 연구에서 활용한 설문 문항은 과학 교사용 지도서및 선행연구를 바탕으로 수정·보완하여 사용하였다. 연구 결과, 여러 가지 기체 단원에 제시된 개념의 예비 초등교사 및 초등학생 이해 수준은 문항에 따라 차이가 있는것으로 나타났고, 초등학생 오개념 빈도에 대한 예비 초등교사의 예측 결과와 실제결과도 문항에 따라 차이가 있었다. 그리고 초등학생의 오개념 파악은 개념 이해, 교육과정 연계, 수업 설계 측면에서 중요하고, 초등학생의 오개념이 과학수업에 미치는 영향은 방해적 영향보다 유용한 영향이라는 인식이 더 많은 것으로 나타났다. 이와같은 연구 결과를 바탕으로 시사점을 도출하고자 하였다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to examine the pre-service elementary teachers’ perceptions of elementary students’ misconceptions and pre-service elementary teachers, elementary students’ misconceptions in various gases unit. The participants of this study were 25 pre-service elementary teachers enrolled in the second grade of university of education and 123 elementary students in five classes, who were in the 6th grade of elementary school. The questionnaire items used in this study were modified and supplemented based on science teacher’s guides and previous studies. As a result of the study, it was found that the understanding level of pre-service elementary teachers and elementary students for various gas unit concepts differed depending on the item, and the predicted results and actual results of pre-service elementary teachers regarding the frequency of misconceptions among elementary students also differed depending on the item. In addition, it was found that identifying misconceptions of elementary students is important in terms of understanding concepts, linking curriculum, and designing lessons, and that the impact of elementary students’ misconceptions on science classes was more of a useful effect than an intrusive effect. Based on the results of this study, we tried to derive implications.
