사기범죄 피해자 특성 및 영향요인 연구

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 사기범죄 피해자 특성 및 영향요인에 대하여 Gottfredson과 Hirschil(1990)의 일반이론에 근거한 낮은자기통제력과 범죄피해 두려움, 범죄피해 간접 경험 또는 노출 등 선행연구를 바탕으로 사기범죄 피해자의 특성을 파악하고, 영향요인을 도출해보고자 하였다. 뿐만아니라 사기범죄에서 특히 더 비율이 높은 보이스피싱에 관한 부분을 심화하여 살펴보고자 보이스피싱 범죄 송금 경험을 한 피해자의 특성 및 영향요인도 검증해보고자 하였다. 2차 데이터를 활용하여 실증연구를 분석한 결과, 사기범죄 피해자 특성으로는 연령, 종사자 직위, 교육수준의 인구사회학적 특성에 따라 피해 경험의 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 보이스피싱 송금 피해 경험에 있어서는 인구사회학적 특성에 따른 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 재산범죄 피해 두려움, 재산범죄 피해 간접 경험, 보이스피싱 노출 경험에 따라 사기범죄 피해 경험의 유무와 보이스피싱 송금 경험의 차이가 통계적으로 유의미하게 나타났으며, 최종 연구적으로 사기범죄 피해와 보이스피싱 송금 피해 경험 영향요인을 분석한 결과 통제변수인 인구사회학적 특성에서는 유의미한 영향요인이 나타나지 않았다. 단, 앞서 상관관계 분석과 교차분석 결과와 마찬가지로, 재산범죄 두려움과 재산범죄 피해 간접 경험이 사기범죄 피해와 보이스피싱 송금 경험에 유의미한 영향요인인 것으로 나타났다. 덧붙여, 보이스피싱 노출 경험이 있는 경우 사기 범죄피해 경험에도 영향을 미치는 영향요인으로 검증되었다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 보이스피싱 범죄피해를 포함한 사기범죄 피해를 예방하기 위한 대응방안을 제시하는데 자료로 활용하고자 한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to identify the characteristics of victims of fraudulent crimes and to derive influencing factors based on previous studies such as low self-control, fear of crime damage, indirect experience or exposure based on Gottfredson and Hirschil (1990). In addition, in order to examine the part of voice phishing, which has a higher proportion of fraudulent crimes, we tried to verify the characteristics and influencing factors of victims who have experienced voice phishing crime remittance. As a result of analyzing the empirical study using the secondary data, it was found that there was a difference in damage experience according to the demographic characteristics of age, worker position, and education level, and there was no difference according to demographic characteristics in voice phishing remittance damage experience. The difference between the experience of fraudulent crime and voice phishing remittance was statistically significant according to the fear of property crime damage, indirect experience of property crime damage, and voice phishing remittance experience. However, like the results of correlation analysis and cross-analysis, fear of property crime and indirect experience of property crime damage were found to be significant influencing factors on the experience of fraudulent crime damage and voice phishing remittance. In addition, it was verified as an influencing factor that affects the experience of fraudulent crime damage when there is an experience of voice phishing exposure. Based on the research results, we intend to use it as data to present countermeasures to prevent damage to fraudulent crimes, including voice phishing crime damage.
