국문 초록

본사 소속의 안전점검단은 현장 안전관리자들의 안전관리업무를 상위에서 점검하고 보완에 대한 지침을 내릴 수 있는 역할과 영향력을 가지므로, 현장 안전관리자와의 관계에 있어 리더-구성원 관계가 적용되는 경향이 있다. 이에 본 연구는 안전점검단과 현장 안전관리자 간의 교환관계(Leader-Member Exchange Theory:LMX)가 안전풍토를 매개로 안전행동에 미치는 영향을 분석하여 건설현장에서의 안전성과 증진을 위한 시사점을 도출하는데 목적을 두었다. 분석을 위해 본 연구는 SPSS 26ver, PROCESS macro for SPSS 프로그램을 활용하여 척도의 타당성과 신뢰성을 확보하기 위한 탐색적 요인분석 및 Cronbach’s alpha값을 분석하였고, 빈도분석과 기술통계 분석, 상관관계 분석을 실시하였으며 연구모형 검증을 위하여 PROCESS macro 4번 모형을 통해 매개효과 분석을 실시하였다. 매개효과의 유의성은 Bootstrapping-test를 통해 확인하였고, 하한값, 상한값 사이에 0이 포함되지 않는 경우 결과값이 유의하다는 기준을 적용하여 매개효과의 유의성을 판단하였다. 분석결과, 안전점검단과 현장 안전관리자 간의 LMX 수준이 높을수록 안전풍토 수준이 높아지고 그에 따라 안전행동도 증가하는 경로가 모두 유의하였으며, 매개 효과 역시 유의한 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 결과를 기반으로 본 연구는 안전점검단과 현장 안전관리자 간의 소통과 협업을 증진시킬 수 있도록 조직문화와 리더십의 개선이 필요하다는 점, 그리고 건설현장에서의 안전풍토를 높이기 위하여 안전실천 확산을 위한 양방향 소통방법의 개선, 안전교육 및 훈련, 안전리더십 배양 등 안전을 현장의 핵심 가치로 삼아 안전관리시스템을 구축할 필요성이 있음을 제언하였다. 안전점검단과 현장 안전관리자 간 관계에 대하여 LMX의 개념을 도입하여 안전풍토, 안전행동 증진을 위한 시사점을 도출하였다는 점에서 본 연구의 의의가 있으며, 추가적으로 안전점검단, 현장 안전관리자들을 대상으로 한 심층면접을 통해 협업을 방해하는 본질적인 원인을 분석하고, 자기보고식 척도가 아닌 실제 사고율 등의 객관적 자료를 분석할 수 있는 후속연구의 필요성에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

Nominated safety inspectors tend to rely on Leader - Member relationship to the work site because they can handle safety management task to inspect and order guidelines to compensate the defect with their superior. Therefore, in this study, it is aimed at implication deduction for safety and improvement in the construction site, to analyse the exchange relationship between safety inspectors and site safety manager(LMX), which affects the safety behaviour as a mediate in the safety climate. This study was analysed exploratory factor analysis and Chronbach’s Alpha value to secure validity of scale and reliability using SPSS 26ver, PROCESS macro for SPSS program, performed analysis of frequency, description analysis and correlation analysis to verify and conducted mediated effect to verify research model through PROCESS macro 4 model. The similarity of mediated effect was confirmed by Bootstrapping-test, if zero is not included between lower bounds and upper bounds, the result value would be significant by applying the criterion, and the mediated effect evaluated the significance. As the result proved the significance that the higher level of LMX between safety inspectors and site safety managers make the safety climate, the more safety behaviour improve, it was also confirmed the mediated effect to be significant. Based on the result, this study suggests that the necessity of safety supervision system to enlarge communication and cooperation between safety inspectors and site safety managers, to enhance safety climate on the site which can upgrade two-way communications for practice on safety. This study places significance when it comes to the implication that introducing LMX concept between safety inspectors and site safety manager to increase safety climate and safety behaviour. Moreover, it analyses the intrinsic cause to interrupt collaboration through having depth interview to safety inspectors and site safety managers, discusses the necessary for the following research that analyses objective data which rely not on self report criterion, but on real accident rate.
