국문 초록

과학기술윤리는 과학기술에 관한 윤리를 말하고, 과학기술윤리법은 과학기술윤리에 대한 법적 접근 또는 법적 대응을 의미한다고 일응 정의할 수 있다. 우리나라 과학기술윤리법에 해당하는 법령에는 과학기술윤리 분야로서 생명윤리, 연구진실성, 동물실험윤리, 과학기술인의 윤리, 로봇윤리, 지능정보사회윤리 등이 주로 제도화되어 있다. 과학기술윤리법은 인간존엄과 인권이라는 가치와 공존, 관용, 소통의 가치를 추구하여야 한다. 이런 측면에서 새롭게 시도되는 과학기술의 사회적 의의를 대중들에게 알리고 사회 속에서 그 함의를 생각하게 할 수 있는 공론화 작업이 필요하다. 무엇보다 과학기술윤리법은 그러한 사회적 커뮤니케이션과 공론화가 가능할 수 있는 제도적 틀을 마련해 주어야 한다.

영문 초록

Science and technology ethics refers to ethics related to science and technology, and science and technology ethics law can be defined as a legal approach or legal response to science and technology ethics. Bioethics, research integrity, animal experiment ethics, ethics of scientists and engineers, robotics ethics, and intelligent information society ethics are mainly institutionalized in the laws and regulations corresponding to the science and technology ethics law in korea. science and technology ethics law should pursue the values of human dignity and human rights, as well as the values of coexistence, tolerance, and communication. In this respect, it is necessary to publicize the social significance of the newly attempted science and technology to the public and make them think about its implications in society. Above all, science and technology ethics law should provide an institutional framework that enables such social communication and public deliberation.
