국내 보호대상자들의 음주실태조사 -음주와 심리사회변인을 중심으로-

국문 초록

본 연구는 출소자들의 음주실태와 문제음주에 영향을 미치는 심리사회적 요인을탐색하는 연구이다. 구체적으로 출소자들의 음주실태현황과 그 문제점을 진단한 것을 포함하여 문제음주행동과 음주동기, 심리사회적 스트레스, 사회적지지, 특성분노, 삶의 의미의 심리사회적 요소들 간의 관계를 분석한 내용을 담고 있다. 본 연구를위해 한국법무보호복지공단 전국 14개 지부 및 4개 지소에서 숙식을 지원 받고 있는 성인 남성 출소자 350명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고, SPSS 22.0을 사용하여 기술통계, T-test, ANOVA, 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구 결과, 조사 대상자의 문제음주 정도는 위험음주군이 19.2%, 알코올 남용 및 의존군이10.3%였다. 또한 문제음주 여부에 따른 심리사회적 변인들의 관계를 알아보기 위해위계적 회귀분석을 실시한 결과, 직업 유무, 재범 유무, 고양동기, 대처동기가 문제음주에 유의한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 선행연구들을 통하여 출소자들의 문제음주가 재범으로 이어질 위험성이 있음이 밝혀진 가운데 본 연구 결과는 출소자들의문제음주에 영향을 주는 심리사회적 변인을 밝혔다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 이에 본연구에서는 출소자의 문제음주 개입을 위한 방법 및 후속 연구에 대한 제언, 본 연구의 한계점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate drinking status of exprisoners and psychosocial factors that influence to problem drinking of ex–prisoners. Specifically, we examined current ex-prisoner drinking status and analyzed the relationship between problem drinking and psychosocial factors such as drinking motives, psychosocial stress, social support, trait anger, meaning of life. Data were collected by questionnaire from 350 adult male ex - prisoners who were staying at 14 branch offices and 4 sub-branch offices in Korea. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistic, T-test, ANOVA, hierarchical multiple regression with the SPSS 22.0 program. As a result, it was found that 19.2% of the subjects were high risk drinkers and 10.3% belonged to alcohol abuse or alcohol dependence group. It was also found that occupation, recidivism occurrence, enhancement motives, coping motives had a significant influence on problem drinking. Based on the previous studies which suggests there’s a risk that the drinking problems of ex-offenders leads to their re-offending, this study identified psychosocial variables affect their drinking problems. In conclusion, methods for intervention on problem drinkers are discussed and the limitation and future direction of this study were suggested.
