국문 초록

급속한 고령 사회로의 진입은 경제적 어려움과 질병, 고독, 은퇴, 사회적 역할 상실 등의 복합적인 어려움은 노인의 소외와 우울, 자살로 강하게 표출되고 있으며, 노인의 사회적 배제와 우울에 직접적인 영향관계를 지적한 선행연구는 미흡하며, 사회적 배제와 우울과의 관계를 밝히는 실증적인 연구가 필요하였다. 실증분석 결과, 사회적 배제의 하위요인인 경제적, 사회적, 문화적 배제 변인은 우울에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 경제적, 사회적, 문화적 배제가 낮아질수록 노인이 인지하는 우울의 정도는 낮아지는 것으로 나타났고, 본문에 그 분석 결과를 제시하였다. 시사점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 노인의 건강을 위한 측면에서도 변화된 정책을 통해 경제적 배제 현상 개선노력이 필요하다. 한편으로는 건강하게 장수하는 노인들을 위해 평생건강관리체제를 만드는 것이고, 또 다른 한편으로는 질병이 있는 노인들을 위해 케어서비스 질의 향상을 통한 장기요양서비스를 확대 실시하는 것이다. 둘째, 노년기는 신체적･심리적･사회적 노화와 더불어 사회로부터 다양한 방식으로 배제되는 시기이다. 이에 따라 자신감 상실, 높은 우울감, 삶의 질이 하락할 수 밖에 없는데 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해서는 중앙정부 및 지자체, 사회복지 기관, 지역사회에서 사회적 배제를 낮출 수 있는 다양한 프로그램을 개발하고 집행하고 실행하는 것이 무엇보다도 중요하다.

영문 초록

Entry into a rapidly aging society is accompanied by complex difficulties such as economic hardship and illness, loneliness, retirement, loss of social roles, etc., which are strongly expressed in the alienation and depression of the elderly, and suicide. He pointed out a direct influence relationship between social exclusion and depression. Prior research is still insufficient, and empirical research was needed to clarify the relationship between social exclusion and depression. Empirical analyzes have shown that variations in economic, social, and cultural exclusion, which are subfactors of social exclusion, affect depression. Perceived depression was found to be lower. , presented the analysis results in the text. Suggestions are as follows. First, efforts are needed to improve the economic exclusion phenomenon through changed policies on the health side of the elderly as well. On the one hand, it is necessary to create a lifelong health management system for the elderly who live long and healthy lives, and on the other, to expand long-term care services for the sick elderly by improving the quality of care services. . Second, old age is a period of physical, psychological, and social aging, along with social exclusion in various ways. This inevitably leads to loss of self-confidence, high levels of depression, and poor quality of life.
