국문 초록

본 연구는 1990년대 이래 발표된 문학사교육에 대한 다양한 논의들을 검토하고, 앞으로의 문학사교육이 시도해야 할 변화의 방향에 대해 살펴보았다. 이에 따라 먼저 그동안 이루어진 문학사에 대한 인식 전환과 학습자 중심의 활동에 바탕을 둔 교육 내용 개발에 대한 논의를 확인하였다. 그리고 문학사교육이 학습자들에게 기대하는 상태가 자기 나름의 문학사적 안목으로 작품을 감상하고, 한국 문학의 특성을 이해하도록 하는 데 있다는 점을 고려할 때, 대상에 대한 분별력, 감식력을 발휘하는 것으로서의 안목이 어떻게 형성되는가를 고려한 교육 내용의 개선이 우선적인 과제가 된다는 점을 주장하였다. 학습자들이 작품을 나름대로의 문학사적 안목으로서 바라보고자 하는 필요를 자극하기 위한 다양한 문학사적 주제의 개발, 역사적 감각에 따라 과거와 오늘을 비교하며 감상할 수 있는 시대의 발굴, 그리고 완결로서 교육의 최고 단계에서 제시되는 문학사교육이 아닌 점진적인 발전을 추구하는 위계화된 교육 내용 등을 제안해 보았다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze diverse thesis on the literary history education from the 1990’s and propose the direction of literary history education. The important question about the literary history education is what is the purpose of point of literary history education and how can we improve the historical discernment of students. Historical discernment is the ultimate goal of literary history education and literary education. For the last 20 years, most researchers have been tried to change of perspective on the literary history and develop diverse learning activities. Researchers tried to consider literary history’s two sides; knowledge and activity. The future literary history education has to harmonize the two sides in order to improve the student’s literary historical perspective. So I suggested these three direction to the literary history education. The first is to relativize the genre and to diversify literary historical theme. The second is vitalization of student’s historical sensitiveness. And the last is to set aside hierarchic of literary history education and continuity of educational activity.
