국문 초록

중한 수교와 한국기업의 대거 중국 진출, 한류 열풍 등의 영향으로 중국대학에서의 한국어교육 규모는 기하급수적으로 발전해왔다. 필자의 통계에 의하면 현재 중국 내 252개 대학에 4년제 혹은 3년제의 한국어 관련 학과가 개설되어 있는 것으로 추정된다. 지금까지 적지 않은 연구논문들이 중국대학의 한국어교육 현황에 대해 논의해 왔지만 기존에 발표된 통계수치들은 빠르게 변화하고 있는 한국어교육의 상황을 정확히 반영하는 데 한계를 드러내고 있다. 그리하여 본고에서는 선행 연구와 필자의 통계를 바탕으로, 첫째, 현재 중국대학의 한국어학과 분포 현황과 한국어학과의 양적 확장에 대한 소견. 둘째, 현재 중국대학 한국어학과의 교과과정 현황과 교과목 배정에 존재하는 문제점. 셋째, 중국대학의 한국학 관련 연구기관의 분포 현황과 연구 동향의 세 부분으로 나누어 논의하였다. 중국대학에서의 한국어교육은 그간의 ‘과속’ 성장으로 여러 가지 문제점을 안고 있는 것은 사실이지만 양과 질적인 측면에서 거둔 성과 또한 충분히 인정해야 할 부분이기에 긍정적인 안목과 자세로 현존하는 문제들을 해결해 나가려는 노력이 필요한 시점이다.

영문 초록

Since the diplomatic relations have been established between China and Korea, many Korean enterprises enter China. And the ‘hallyu(Korean wave)’ is very popular in China recently. In terms of these, there has been a remarkable development in Korean education in the universities of China. To the author's knowledge, about 252 universities of China have Korean major. Lots of studies have discussed about the Korean education. As the time went by, the previous researches were not able to reflect the status quo of Korean education accurately because of the limited information. This paper is about researching the issues in Korean education in the universities of China. The first part is about the distribution of Korean major and the prospects of the expansion of Korean major in the universities of China. The second part presents the importance of curriculum design, the problems of curriculum design and its solutions. The last part discusses the distribution of Korean studies research institutes and their present study trend. There are some problems caused by unconventional development in Korean education in China. However, some significant progresses have been made in this area in recent years. The purpose of this study is to avoid holding simple views of problems and approving the achievement had been made. Also building up a positive attitude to solve the problems in Korean education is important.
