모범답안 보기 중 주목하기가 한국어 고급 학습자의 다시 쓰기에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 모법 답안 보기 중 주목하기가 다시 쓰기에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고 주목하는 방법(필기하기와 밑줄 긋기) 중 어떤 유형이 더욱 효과적인지 알아보는 데 목적이 있다. 한국어 고급 학습자 28명을 대상으로 사전 쓰기를 통해 동질성 검사를 실시한 후 이어서 도표 보고 글쓰기, 모법 답안 보기, 다시 쓰기, 그리고 다른 주제로 새로 글쓰기를 진행하였다. 이 과정에서 모범답안 보기와 주목하기가 다시 쓰기에 미치는 영향에 대해 살펴보았다. 결과적으로, (ⅰ) 초고 및 다시 쓰기에서 학습자들은 어휘 및 표현, 내용 순으로 주목을 하였고, (ⅱ) 1, 2차 다시 쓰기에서 유의미한 점수 향상이 있었으며, (ⅲ) 주목 유무와 방식에 따른 집단 간 점수 차이는 유의미하지 않았으나, (ⅳ) 밑줄 긋기 집단에서 차기 작문에 유의미한 점수 차를 보였다. 본 연구의 결과는 모법답안 보기와 주목하기가 다시 쓰기에 긍정적인 영향을 미침을 보여주며 모법답안이 피드백으로서의 기능을 하고 있음을 나타낸다.

영문 초록

This paper investigated the effect of noticing(note-taking and underlining) during referring a model text on rewriting and next writing of 28 advanced learners of L2 Korean. Participants were divided by three groups(note-taking, underlining, and controlled with no specific noticing activity)wrote an essay based on the tables about the trend of living alone. The study found that (i) participants noticed vocabulary and expression, content, and grammar in order in the draft and first rewriting, (ii) after referring a model text, the scores of every rewriting were significantly increased, (iii) However, no significant discrepancy was shown between two groups of noticing, indicating that a way of noticing does not effect on he improvement of rewriting, (iv) finally, there was a significant improvement in the next writing in underlining group, but no improvement in note-taking and controlled groups. Consequently, this study revealed the encouraging findings that a model text and a particular way of noticing gave positive effect on the writing of advanced learners of L2 Korean.
