한국어 교육에서의 말하기 연구 동향 분석 및 연구 방안 모색

국문 초록

본 연구는 최근 한국어교육 분야에서 이루어진 말하기 연구의 동향을 살펴보고 향후 말하기 연구의 방향과 과제를 모색해 보는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 2010년부터 2017년 2월까지 발표된 말하기 연구를 수집하여 이들 연구를 시기별·유형별, 연구 주제별, 연구 방법별, 연구 대상별로 나누어 분석하였다. 그 결과 매년 30~40편씩의 말하기 연구가 이루어지고 있었으며, 그 중에서 ‘말하기 교수 및 학습’에 관한 연구가 주를 이루었음을 알 수 있었다. 이들 연구에는 말하기 교수 및 학습 방안에 대한 연구가 가장 많았으며, 방송매체, 발표, 역할극, 토론, 스토리텔링 등 다양한 교수 및 학습 방안을 제시한 연구들이었다. 연구 방법별로 분류하여 살펴본 결과 ‘분석 연구’의 수가 많았으며, 주로 학습자의 발화와 교재를 분석한 연구였다. 연구 대상별로 분류하여 살펴본 결과 학습 배경이 학문 목적인 중국인 학습자를 대상으로 한 연구가 대부분이었으며, 학습자의 숙달도는 대부분 중급 이상을 대상으로 한 연구였다. 본 연구는 지금까지 이루어진 말하기 연구를 살핌으로써 말하기 연구의 몇 가지 문제점을 지적하고 향후 말하기 연구의 방향을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to overall speaking research of recent Korean as a foreign language area to organize its achievement, and propose the further research directions by analyzing the thesis related to the speaking research of Korean as a foreign language. In order to accomplish this research purpose, 243 thesis from 2010 to February, 2017 have been collected and categorized by issued year, type of publication, research theme, research method and learner factor. As a result of that, over 20 thesis paper have been constantly studied every year, most of studies are about ‘teaching and learning’. In addition, research using analytical methods in theses and journals mainly focused on the learner’s utterances and textbooks. Most of the research subjects were Chinese speaking learner for academic purpose, and most of the learner’s proficiency was intermediate. Based on this results, it examined the limit of the study, it pointed out several problems and suggested speaking research direction of Korean as a foreign language in the future.
