초등학교 국어 교과서에서 쓰기 과제 해결 활동의 문제점과 개선 방안

국문 초록

본고는 초등학생들의 쓰기 결과가 드러난 국어 교과서의 분석을 통하여 쓰기 과제 해결 활동의 문제점을 살펴보고 개선 방안을 모색하였다. 이를 위하여 저, 중, 고학년 교과서 60권을 수집하여 그 속에 있는 6개의 쓰기 과제와 60개의 쓰기 결과물을 내용 분석하였고, 두 명의 교사를 면담하였다. 그 결과 나타난 주요 문제점으로는 학생들 수준에 비추어 난이도가 높은 과제 제시, 내용 조직하기 활동의 성과 미흡, 획일적이고 경직된 쓰기 절차나 활동의 제시, 자기 주도적 해결 과제 부재, 쓰기 과정이나 필자 자신에 대한 메타 인지 활동의 부재가 나타났다. 이에 대한 개선책으로 수준에 맞는 과제 제시와 내용 생성을 돕는 자료 지원, 자기 주도적 해결 과제 제시와 학습 단계별 과제 제시 수준의 차별화, 메타 인지 활동의 활성화, 내용 조직하기 활동의 체계적인 지도, 쓰기 과제 해결 과정에 대한 비판적 수용과 창의적 활용, 학생 수준에 알맞은 모범 글의 제시를 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to inquires the problems and improvements of problem-solving activities for writing assignment in the national language textbooks. For this purpose, textbooks of 60 volumes of low, middle, and high grades textbooks were collected. We analyzed contents of 6 writing assignments and 120 writing results included in it and two teachers were interviewed. The main problem with the issue presented a difficult assignment to students to solve, lack of performance in content organization of assignment solving activities, presentation of uniform and inflexible procedures or activities, absence of self-directed solving assignment, lack of meta cognition about the process of writing and the writer himself. How to improve on this, It proposed a appropriate level of the assignment, support of material that help content creation, differentiation of the level of the assignment and presents the method according to the learning process step, provision of learning activities of meta cognitive activation activities, systematic instruction training of contents organization activity, critical acceptance and creative utilization of problem solving process, presentation of the best article of the appropriate level of student.
