국문 초록

본 연구 「광개토대왕릉비문」연구의 쟁점은 첫째로 비문의 신묘년 조를 해석할때 주어를 ‘왜’로 보는지 ‘고구려’로 보는지로 나뉘고, 두번째로 비문변조설이 논파되었는가 하는 점이다. 현재 비문의 신묘년 조 해석하는 통설은 이전에 백제와 신라가 고구려의 속민이였던 것은 거짓이므로 비문의 기록은 고구려인의 욕망이 투영되었다는 것이다. 그 결과 신묘년 조의 강한 왜가 나타난 것으로 왜가 신라와 백제를 신민으로삼았다는 것이다. 결론적으로 일제 식민사학의 해석과 같다. 그러나 광개토대왕릉비의 건립 취지와 목적에 맞게 장수왕은 왜가 아닌 아버지 공훈을 후세에 알리려고 하는 것이고, 따라서 고구려를 주어로 보는 것이 자연스럽다. 또한 금석은 후대로 갈수록 탁본이 불선명한 것 금석학의 상식이지만 비문의경우 후대로 갈수록 탁본이 선명해진다. 따라서 비문은 변조되었고 글자마다 주의해서 명확하게 글자를 판독해야 한다. 그렇다면 역사학, 문자학, 서예학 등 여러 학문 분야에서 비문의 연구 결과를 바탕으로 학문 간의 융합이 필요하다.

영문 초록

In this study, the issue of the study of Gwanggaeto the Great inscription is first, whether the subject is regarded as “Japanese” or “Goguryo” when interpreting the records of the inscription's Shinmyo Year, and second, whether the inscription modulation theory was confuted. The common theory interpreting the current inscription as Shinmyo Year is that it is false that Baekje and Silla were former colonies of Goguryeo. Thus, the inscription record reflects the desire of the Goguryeo people. As a result, it is said that the strong Japanese appeared in the year of Shinmyo, and that the Japanese made Silla and Baekje as subjects. The conclusion is the same as the interpretation of Japanese colonial history. However, in accordance with the purpose and purpose of the construction of the Tomb of King Gwanggaeto, King Jangsu is trying to inform the future generations of his father's exploits, rather than the Japanese, so it is natural to see Goguryeo as a subject. Additionally, the rubbing of an epigraph is commonly unclear as it goes to the future generations, but in the case of Gwanggaeto the Great inscription, the rubbing becomes clearer as it transmits to the future generations. Therefore, the inscription has been changed, and each letter must be read with care and clarity. If so, convergence between studies is necessary based on the research results of inscriptions in various academic fields such as history, philology, and calligraphy.
