노인의 감정조절능력이 자살생각에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 노인의 감정조절능력과 자살생각 간의 관련성을 규명하고 이들 두 변수 간에 마음챙김이 매개하는지를 분석하였다. 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 노인의 감정조절능력을 나타내는 문항들을 요인분석한 결과 4개의 유형으로 나눌 수 있었다. 둘째, 감정조절유형과 마음챙김 간의 관계를 분석한 결과, 통제장애형, 혼란형, 방치형은 마음챙김과 부적 관계가 있으나 인지형과는정적 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 마음챙김과 자살생각 간의 관계를 분석한 결과, 두 변수가부적 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 감정조절능력과 자살생각 간의 관계에서 마음챙김은 감정조절유형에 따라 부분매개 또는 완전매개하는 것으로 파악되었다. 본 연구결과는 감정조절유형과자살생각 간의 관계에 마음챙김이라는 변수가 매개역할을 한다는 점을 분명히 보여주고 있으며, 감정조절, 마음챙김, 자살생각 간의 인과관계 대한 논리적 준거와 노인의 자살예방 사업 및 정책에 필요한 정보를 제공할 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between feelings of suicidalideation and emotional control and mindfulness in the elderly. The results of this study are asfollows. First, the factor analysis of the emotional control showed that there are four factors.;Second, as a result of analyzing the relationship between emotional control type andmindfulness, control disorder, confused, as well as neglected type showed significantly negativerelation to mindfulness. Third, there was positive relationship between mindfulness and thesuicidal thoughts, indicating that for the elderly who fail to take care of their minds, suicidalthoughts are getting worse. Fourth, in the relationship between emotional control and thesuicidal thought, mindfulness was perceived to be partially or completely mediated dependingon the types of emotional control. The results of this study clearly show that the relationshipbetween emotional control type and suicidal ideation plays a mediating role in mindfulness.
