국립고궁박물관 소장 왕실발기의 현황(1)

국문 초록

본고는 국립고궁박물관 소장 왕실발기의 현황과 내용을 소개하는 첫 번째 편으로, 그간 국립고궁박물관 소장 왕실발기에 대해서는 그 현황조차 제대로 알려진 바 없어 두 번에 걸쳐 그 현황을 학계에 소개하고자 작성되었다. 현재 국립고궁박물관에 소장되어 있는 왕실발기는 총 32점으로, 첫 번째 편인 본고에서는 고종대 이전에 작성된 왕실발기 12점을 대상으로 하였다. 이중 18세기 초인 1732년에 화순옹주 길례 때 내수사內需司에서 작성한 왕실발기 〈ᄂᆡ슈ᄉᆞ 화슌옹듀 길녜시 소용 각양 유긔 목믈 ᄇᆞᆯ긔(고궁1741)〉는 현전하는 왕실발기 중 가장 오랜 것이다. 19세기 전의 왕실발기에 대해서는 그간 기록으로만 존재할 뿐 자료 실물이 확인된 바 없었는데 이로써 18세기에 실재한 왕실발기가 확인되었다고 할 수 있다. 또 〈辛亥五月十七日 眞殿第六室 器皿(고궁2213)〉, 〈신ᄒᆡ오월십칠일 봉안시(고궁2522)〉는 한국학중앙연구원 장서각 소장 왕실발기 〈신ᄒᆡ오월십칠일 환안시(장서각1880)〉과 함께 철종대의 어진 봉안 의례 및 그 의례와 관련하여 어떤 왕실발기가 작성되었는지를 연속적으로 보여주는 자료이다. 그간 어진 봉안과 관련된 왕실발기는 크게 주목받지 못하였는데 연속성을 갖는 실증적인 자료가 확인된 것이다. 고종대 왕실발기 8점 중 〈갑ᄌᆞ구월 위시 냥 본궁 의ᄃᆡ소입(고궁2216)〉은 현전하는 왕실발기 중에는 본궁에서 지낸 제례와 관련하여 별건으로 남아있는 유일한 자료이다. 또 신정왕후의 제사와 관련된 〈신묘ᄉᆞ월십칠일 됴샹식 겸ᄒᆡᆼ 샹다례 단ᄌᆞ【큰뎐】(고궁2220)〉과 〈신묘십이월초뉵일 탄일 다례 단ᄌᆞ【큰뎐】(고궁2221)〉나 의화군 길례 때 작성된 〈의화군 길례시 자비내인 발기(고궁717)〉 등은 한국학중앙연구원 장서각 소장본과 함께 관련 의례를 촘촘히 재구성하고 왕실발기의 제작 과정을 밝히는 데에 활용될 수 있을 것이다. 뿐만 아니라 이들 왕실발기는 기록된 왕실 물명을 통해 18, 19세기 왕실언어의 특징 또한 살펴보는 데에도 중요한 자료가 된다. 본고에서 소개한 각 왕실발기의 작성 시기와 내용이 바탕이 되어 이후 관련 분야에서 깊이 있는 연구가 진전되기를 기대해 본다.

영문 초록

This article is the first to introduce the current status and contents of Wangsil Balgi(王室 발기[件記]), a list of royal items in the National Palace Museum. Until now, the status of Wangsil Balgi in the National Palace Museum was not well known. Therefore, it was written twice to introduce the status of Wangsil Balgi in the National Palace Museum to the academic world. Currently there are 32 Wangsil Balgis in total housed in the National Palace Museum. In this paper, the first volume, 12 Wangsil Balgis written up to King Gojong(高宗) were targeted. First, 〈Gogung 1741〉 is a list of brass bowls and wooden objects prepared in connection with the marriage of Princess Hwasun(和順翁主, 1720-1758), written by Naesussa(內需司) in 1732, and is the oldest of the Wangsil Balgi. Regarding Wangsil Balgi written before the 19th century, they exist only as a record, and the actual material has not been confirmed. However, it can be said that the existence of Wangsil Balgi written in the 18th century has been confirmed through the existence of 〈Gogung 1741〉. There are three Wangsil Balgis written during Heonjong(憲宗) and Cheoljong(哲宗): 〈Gogung 2214〉 written in 1846, and 〈Gogung 2213〉 and 〈Gogung 2522〉 written in 1851. All three of these cases are related to the enshrining of the portraits of the former king(御眞 奉安) and are data showing the reality of the enshrining of the portraits of the former king in the 19th century. Eight pieces of Wangsil Balgi from King Gojong(高宗) are in the collection. 〈Gogung 2216〉 was written by Naesussa in 1864, and it is a list of cloths sent to the Original Palaces(本宮) in Hamheung(咸興) and Yeongheung(永興) . 〈Gogung 2220〉 and 〈Gogung 2221〉 are lists of food for the memorial service of Queen Shinjeong(神貞王后). 〈Gogung 717〉 is a list of court ladies who were active at the wedding of Uihwa-gun(義和君, 1877-1955) in 1893. And 〈Gogung 2215〉 is a list of food prepared during the Iandarye(移安茶禮) and Judarye(晝茶禮) in 1896. 〈Gogung 2211〉 is a list of food for a tea ceremony(茶禮) held in the royal mausoleum in 1898 and 〈Gogung 2223〉 is a list of items sent to each place during the ancestral rites in Jinjoen(眞殿) in 1905. This paper has only briefly introduced these materials, but it is expected that based on the discussion in this paper, in-depth research in related fields will progress in the future.
