국문 초록

전공과는 고등학교를 졸업한 특수교육대상학생의 진로 및 직업교육을 위해 운영되고 있다. 하지만 학생의 배움보다 운영 성과가 전공과 교육의 중심이 되고 있다. 이에 나는 자문화기술지 방법을 활용하여 전공과 교육경험과 의미를 전문적 학습공동체 구성원과 함께 탐구하였다. 이를 위해 개인내부자료, 참여관찰자료, 면담자료, 현지자료를 수집하였다. 실용적 절충주의에 기초한 포괄적 분석 절차를 거쳐 구성된 자료를 분석하였다. 이 연구의 결과를 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 나는 전공과 교사로서 학생의 배움보다 취업률과 매출 신장에 과몰입해 있는 문화를 마주할 수 있었다. 둘째, 나와 전문적 학습공동체 교사들은 학생의 배움을 존중하기 위해 원격콘텐츠 제작, 교육과정 재구성, 성인장애인용 교과서 제작 등을 실천하며, 협력적으로 성찰하였다. 셋째, 우리는 배움이 단절되는 상황에서 학생의 배움을 지켜낼 수 있는 전공과를 지향하였다. 이 연구는 사회문화적 관점에서 전공과 교육의 의미를 통찰하기 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

The Post-Secondary Program is for career and vocational education of special education provided to students who have graduated from high school. It has emphasized achievements such as employment rate rather than students learning. This study is a reflection on educational experiences of a special education teacher who has worked at a Post-Secondary Program for Vocational Education with teachers in a professional learning community. I explored my educational experience and meaning with autoethnography. I collected personal internal data, participation observation data, interview data and local data in order to explore. The data were interpreted through the process of the comprehensively analytical procedure based on the practical eclecticism. The results of this study are as follows. First, I was able to face an uncomfortable educational culture to increase the employment rate and sales of school enterprises rather than student learning. Second, I and the teachers in the professional learning community have empathized with the lives of the students and have tried to meet their educational needs. Third, the Post-Secondary Program for Vocational Education must form an identity so that students can continue their enjoyable learning. This study will provide a deeper insight into the meaning of the Post-Secondary Program for Vocational Education by understanding the educational experiences from a socio-cultural perspective.
