국문 초록

신발의 역사는 인류의 역사와 함께한 생활필수품 중 하나이다. 또한, 어린아이에서 노인에게까지, 일반인과 사회적 약자에게 꼭 필요한 제품으로 일상생활, 여가 활동, 업무 활동 등 모든 영역에서 필요하다. 유니버설디자인이란 성별, 연령, 국적, 문화적 배경, 장애와 관계없이 모든 인류가 쉽게 사용할 수 있는 제품 또는 환경을 만드는 것이다. 신발의 필요와 발전은 ‘유니버설디자인’의 요소와 많은 면에서 유사하다. 본 연구에서는 유니버설디자인의 신발 적용사례와 함께 적용범위를 분석하고 적용 방향을 제시하여 신발의 유니버설디자인 적용을 이론화하고자 한다. 본 연구의 목적은 신발과 유니버설디자인에 관한 기초자료로 활용하기 위한 것으로, 향후 연구를 통해 신발산업에서 적용할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

영문 초록

The history of footwear is one of the necessities of life along with the history of mankind. In addition, it is a necessary product for the general public and the socially disadvantaged, from children to the elderly, and is necessary in all areas such as daily life, leisure activities, and work activities. Universal design is to create a product or environment that can be easily used by all mankind regardless of gender, age, nationality, cultural background, or disability. The needs and development of footwear is similar in many ways to the elements of 'Universal Design'. This study intends to theorize the application of universal design in footwear by analyzing the scope of application along with the application examples of universal design and suggesting the direction of application. The purpose of this study is to use it as basic data on footwear and universal design, and it is expected that it can be applied to the footwear industry through future research.
