국문 초록

본 논문은 일제 강점 전반기 일본인 엘리트들에 의해 수집된 고려청자가 이후 재현되는 과정의 전 모를 고찰하는데 목적을 두었다. 강점 이전부터 진행된 청자 수집의 열기는 조선으로 도항하여 요업에 종사하던 재조일본인들에게 새로운 인식을 부여하였다. 이들은 당대 청자의 열광을 식민문화의 일환으 로 편입하면서 대중화하고자 하였다. 강점 초기 청자제작의 종사자들은 청자가 지니고 있는 본래의 가 치를 내포하면서 근대적으로 재해석할 수 있는 재현청자를 제작하는데 주력하였다. 그러나 시기가 흐 를수록 재현의 의미는 식민지배에 정당한 문화적 논리를 내세우며 변질되기 시작했다. 재현청자의 제 작자를 비롯하여 수요공급과 유통에 이르기까지 재조선 일본인들이 독점하게 되면서, 이 시기 청자의 재현이 나아가야 할 방향은 다방면에서 전환된 것이다. 무엇보다 전통성의 혼란과 생산의 주체가 전환 되자, 청자의 정체성은 표류하기 시작했다. 즉 근대적 도자 접근과 새로운 장르의 구현이라는 측면에 서 본다면 ‘재현’은 주목할 수 있는 근거가 충분했지만, 결과적으로는 올바른 전승문화의 창달에 이 바지하지 못하고 외래적인 영향력에 지배받는 신문물로 안착하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this thesis is to examine the entire process of the subsequent reproduction of Goryeo celadon collected by the Japanese elite during the first half of the Japanese colonial rule. The enthusiasm for collecting celadon from before the strong point gave a new perception to the Japanese who were engaged in ceramics by traveling to Joseon. They sought to popularize the enthusiasm of the celadon by incorporating it as a part of colonial culture. Strengths Participants in the early celadon production focused on producing reproduced celadon that can be reinterpreted in a modern way while embedding the original value of celadon. However, as time passed, the meaning of representation began to deteriorate, putting legitimate cultural logic in colonial rule. The monopoly of the Japanese recreated celadon, from the producers to the supply and demand, and distribution, changed the direction in which celadon reappearance should proceed in this period. Above all, as the traditionality and the subject of production were transformed, the identity of the celadon began to drift. In other words, in terms of the modern approach to ceramics and the realization of a new genre, ‘representation’ had enough grounds to be noted, but as a result, it did not contribute to the creation of a proper tradition of tradition and settled down as a newspaper dominated by foreign influences.
