신라 중고기 금호강 유역의 농경과 물자관리

국문 초록

금호강은 영천에서 발원하여 경산을 거쳐 대구에서 낙동강과 합류한다. 낙동강 지류에서 남강다음으로 면적이 크며, 경주 인근에 위치하여 교통로의 기능을 수행한다. 금호강 유역은 충적평야가 발달하여 농업생산력이 높은 편이다. 고대 이 같은 물적기반을 바탕으로 골벌국, 압독국, 달벌국 등의 소국이 형성되었다. 신라 중고기 수리비가 3기나 확인되는 것도 이를 방증한다. 한편 농업경영에서 물자의 비축과 관리는 무엇보다 중요하다. 금호강은 지방에서 왕경으로 이동하는 수로의 기능을 수행하면서 창고가 발달한 것 같다. 봉무동 유적의 대규모 창고군은 배가안정적으로 갈수 있는 지점에 형성되었다. 장마 기간 물이 불어나면 영천 임포까지 배가 들어갈수 있었고, 이 지점에서 하역된 물자들은 왕경으로 육로로 이동하였다. 이러한 창고의 관리를 살펴보면, 신라의 중앙정부가 금호강을 어떻게 활용하고 관리했는지 짐작할 수 있다. 특히 최근 조사된 경산 소월리 유적 출토 목간은 농업경영과 관련된 자료로 파악할 수 있다. 그리고 대구 팔거산성에서 출토된 목간은 6부인 본피부의 존재가 확인된다. 이는 왕경 6부의 물자가 이 산성의 관리를 간섭했던 자료로 볼 수 있다.

영문 초록

The Geumho River originates in Yeongcheon, passes through Gyeongsan, and joins the Nakdong River in Daegu. It is the second largest in the Nakdong River tributary and served as a transportation route because it was located near Gyeongju. Agricultural productivity was high due to the development of alluvial plains in the Geumho River basin. Small countries such as Golbeol-guk, Abdok-guk, and Dal-beol-guk were formed based on this material base. The fact that three monument(菁堤碑, 戊戌塢作碑, 林堂古碑) from the Silla Middle Ages have been identified also proves this. On the other hand, in agricultural management, stockpiling and management of materials was of the utmost importance. The Geumho River seems to have developed as a warehouse while performing the function of a waterway moving from the provinces to the royal palace. A large-scale warehouse group at the Bongmu-dong ruins was formed at a point where ships could safely go. During the rainy season, when the water increased, ships could enter Impo, Yeongcheon, and the goods unloaded at this point were moved by land to Wanggyeong. The management of these warehouses can be guessed at how the central government of Silla utilized and managed the Kumho River. In particular, the recently investigated wooden tablet from the Sowol-ri site in Gyeongsan can be identified as data related to agricultural management. In addition, the existence of the Bonpibu(本彼 部), is confirmed in the wooden tablets excavated from Mt. Palgeo castle, Daegu. This can be seen as the material that the Wanggyeong yukbu(王京 6部) interfered with the management of this fortress.
