국문 초록

전 세계적으로 재난, 안전디자인에 대한 관심이 고조됨에 따라 선진국에서는 재난, 안전, 소방 등에 대해 많은 디자인 시도와 결과들을 가시적으로 보이고 있으며 생활의 한 부분으로 자리 잡고있는 가운데 아직 우리나라는 각종 법의 부재, 편성 예산의 부족, 가이드라인의 부재 등으로 안전디자인의 확립이 미흡한 실정이다. 안전 선진국으로 발전하기 위해서는 사회의 물리적 안전(안전한 디자인과 설계)과 국민의 심리적(안전의식)수준 두 가지 요인의 향상이 필요한데, 국민의 생활과 직결된 제품, 시설, 공간 등이 디자인을 통해 안전한 생활환경을 조성하게 되면 이는 결국 국민 생활의 안전수준을 높일 수 있고, 근본적인 안전사고 예방 효과를 통해 자연스럽게 국민들의 심리적 안전수준이 높아질 수 있다. 본 연구는 안전디자인의 정의와 범위를 살펴보고, 일본, 홍콩, 호주의 안전디자인 개념과 요소, 가이드라인의 분석을 통하여 안전디자인의 개념 정립과 함께 안전디자인 가이드라인 제안을 목표로 한다. 국내외 문헌연구 분석을 통해 안전디자인 개념과 구성요소, 범위에 대해 살펴보았다. 또한 한국, 일본, 싱가폴, 홍콩, 호주의 안전디자인의 요소, 원칙 및 안전디자인 가이드라인에 대해 살펴봄으로써 안전디자인에서 지켜져야 할 원칙에 대해 논의하고, 안전디자인의 가이드라인을 제안함으로 본 연구가 안전디자인의 확립에 도움이 되고자 했다. 안전디자인의 확립을 통하여 인간이 생활환경 속에서 접하게 되는 제품, 시설, 공간 등의 안전성을 사전에 확보하여 안전사고를 근원적으로 방지할 수 있고, 나아가 사회 전 분야에서 안전디자인을 촉진하고 확산함으로써 근원적으로 안전하고 쾌적한 사회를 조성하는데 기여할 수 있다.

영문 초록

As interest in safety design increases, many design trials and results are visible in disaster, safety, and firefighting in developed countries. However, in Korea, the establishment of safety design is still insufficient due to the absence of various laws, lack of budgets, and lack of guidelines. In order to develop into a developed country with safety issues, it is necessary to improve the physical safety of society (safety in design and design) and the psychological (safety awareness) level of the people. By creating a safe living environment, the safety level of people s lives can be raised, and the psychological safety level of the people can be naturally raised through the fundamental safety accident prevention effect. This study aims to establish the safety design concept and propose guidelines by examining the definition and scope of safety design, and analyzing safety design concepts, elements, and guidelines in Japan, Hong Kong, and Australia. Through analysis of domestic and foreign literature studies, the concept, components, and scope of safety design were examined. In addition, by examining the elements, principles, and those guidelines of safety design in Korea, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Australia, the principles to be observed in safety design are discussed, and guidelines for safety design are suggested. By establishing safety design, safety accidents can be prevented fundamentally by securing the safety of products, facilities, and spaces that humans come into contact within the living environment-contributing to the creation of a safe and comfortable society.
