중국 관내지역 독립운동 연구의 성과와 과제

국문 초록

중국 관내지역은 일제강점기 내내 독립운동이 전개된 곳이자, 대한민국 임시정부의 활동 무대가 되었다는 점에서 주요 연구의 대상이 되었다. 이를 반영하듯 ≪한국근현대사연구≫에 실린 중국 관내지역 독립운동 관련 연구는 110편에이를 만큼 다수를 차지하고 있다. 국외 독립운동 연구에서 단연 중요하게 다뤄진 것은 대한민국 임시정부 연구였다. 근현대사연구 발간 초기부터 발표된 임시정부 관련 연구는 임시정부의 수립과 활동 자체에 그치지 않고, 그 터전이 되었던 공간, 그리고 주역이 된 인물 연구로 확장되어 갔다. 특히 1999년에 발간된『대한민국 임시정부 80주년 기념논문집』은 학회의 연구 역량을 방증하는 연구성과였다. 한국 독립운동의 현실적 거점이었던 한인사회에 대한 연구는 광범위하게 이뤄졌다. ≪한국근현대사연구≫를 통해 연해주 지역 최초 정착지, 上海의 초기 사회, 내몽고 및 몽골지역에 이르기는 해외 한인사회의 초기 역사를 규명하려는연구가 활발하게 이뤄졌다. 또한 독립운동의 현실 입지로써 중국 관내의 시공간을 탐색하려는 연구가 上海-北京-廣州-天津 등으로 확장되었다. 혁명과 전쟁으로 점철된 중국의 현실과 그곳에서 전개된 독립운동의 실상을밝히려는 노력은 다양한 연구논문으로 발표되었다. 한중연대의 다면성을 밝히기 위한 인적 교류의 양상을 파악하기 위한 연구, 협력과 긴장 속에서 이어진한중연대의 내면을 구명하기 위한 연구도 이뤄졌다. 30여 년간 진전된 중국관내 독립운동 연구의 일단을 파악하는 것은 보다 심화된 연구 진전을 위해서선결되어야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

The mainland of China was the place where the Korean independence movement developed throughout the Japanese colonial era and the field of the Korean Provisional Government. Therefore, it became the main subject of research. The most important thing in the study of the overseas independence movement was the study of the Korean Provisional Government. Research related to the provisional government published from the beginning of the publication of Journal of Korean Modern and Contemporary History was not limited to the establishment and activities of the provisional government The study expanded to activity space and personality research. Research on the Overseas Korean society, which was the realistic base of the Korean independence movement, has been conducted extensively. Through the Journal of Korean Modern and Contemporary History studies have been actively conducted to investigate the early history of overseas Korean communities, including the first settlement in the Primorsky region, Shanghai’s early society, Inner Mongolia and Mongolia. These studies have expanded to Shanghai-Beijing-Guangzhou-Tenjin. Efforts to reveal the reality of China, which was marked by revolution and war, and the reality of the independence movement developed there have been published in various studies. Research was conducted to identify aspects of human exchanges to reveal the multifaceted nature of the Korea-China solidarity, and to investigate the inner side of the Korea-China solidarity that continued amid cooperation and tension. Understanding a group of research on the independence movement in China, which has progressed over 30 years, should be preceded for further research succession.
