국문 초록

이 논문은 한국근현대사학회의 학술지 ≪한국근현대사연구≫ 100호 발행을기념하여, 지금까지 ≪한국근현대사연구≫에 실린 미주·유럽 및 일본지역과 관련된 논문에 대해 분석·검토한 것이다. 미주와 유럽지역과 관련하여 20편의 논문이 수록되어, 미주·유럽지역의 한인역사와 독립운동사 발전에 크게 기여하였다. 특히 미주·유럽에서 활동하였던 독립운동 인물에 관한 8편의 논문은 미주· 유럽의 한인역사 및 독립운동사를 학문적으로 발전시키는 데에 공헌하였다. 또한 일본지역에서는 11편의 논문 수록되어 재일 한인사 및 독립운동사 분야를학문적으로 성장시켰음에 틀림이 없다. 그 가운데 가네코 후미코(金子文子)와후세 다츠지(布施辰治) 두 일본인에 대한 논문은, 한국독립운동은 한국인만의투쟁이 아닌 식민본국의 양심적인 인사들도 동참하는 자유·평화운동이라는 것을 말한다는 점에서 매우 의미가 있다. 그리고 일본지역의 아니키즘 관련 논문이 여러 편 게재된 것은, 일본지역 아나키즘계열 독립운동이 민족주의나 공산주의계열 독립운동에 못지않게 비중을 차지하고 있다는 점이다. ≪한국근현대사연구≫ 100호가 발행되기까지 미주·유럽 및 일본지역에 관련된 논문이 30편 이상 수록되어 학문 발전에 기여한 것은 틀림이 없다. 여러편의 연구논문이 게재되었음에도 불구하고, 이들 지역과 관련하여 앞으로 연구되어야만 할 과제도 적지 않다. 우선 미주지역의 경우 이민사에 대해 보다 심층적인 연구가 이루어지지 않았다. 그리고 미주지역 독립운동에서 가장 중요한점은, 미주가 한국 독립운동사에서 독립운동자금의 중요 제공지였다는 점이다. 한편, 미주지역 독립운동은 중국 관내지방의 대한민국임시정부 활동과 상당히비례하여 움직이고 있었다. 임시정부의 활동이 활발하게 전개되면 미주지역 독립운동도 역시 활기를 띠었고, 반대로 임시정부의 활동이 침체되면 미주의 독립운동도 위축되는 경향이 있었다. 그만큼 임시정부와 미주지역 독립운동은 서로밀접하게 연계되어 있었다. 그렇기 때문에 미주지역 독립운동사는 임시정부의연장선에서 연구될 필요가 있다. 다음으로 일본지역의 경우, 재일 한인사회의 주축은 노동자들이었기 때문에, 노동실태, 노동자 단체, 노동운동 등이 가장 중요한 주제가 될 수밖에 없다. 특히 1930년대 이후 일본 노동운동의 주축을 이룬 것은 한인 노동자들이었다는 점에서 재일 한인 노동운동에 대한 연구가 보다 심층적으로 진행될 필요가있다. 그리고 일본지역에서 노동자와 함께 재일 한인사회의 한 축은 유학생들이기 때문에, 재일 한인 유학생들의 단체, 학생조직과 독립운동 등이 주요 연구주제가 되어야만 한다는 점이다.

영문 초록

This paper is an analysis and review of papers related to the Americas, Europe, and Japan published in the 100th issue of Journal of Korean Modern and Contemporary History , the 100th issue of this Journal. Twenty papers related to the Americas and Europe were included, contributing greatly to the development of Korean history and independence movement history in the Americas and Europe. In particular, eight papers on the figures of the independence movement who worked in the Americas and Europe contributed to the academic development of the history of Korean people and independence movements in the Americas and Europe. In addition, 11 papers must have been included in the Japanese region to academically grow the field of Korean community and independence movement history in Japan. Among them, the papers on the two Japanese, Kaneko Fumiko and Huse Tatsuji, are very meaningful in that they say that the Korean independence movement is not just a struggle of Koreans, but a freedom and peace movement in which conscientious people from the colonial country participate. In addition, several papers on anarchism in the Japan were published because the Anarchist independence movement in the Japan took up as much weight as the nationalist and socialist independence movements. There is no doubt that more than 30 papers related to the Americas, Europe, and Japan were included until the 100th issue of Journal of Korean Modern and Contemporary History was published, contributing to academic development. Although several research papers have been published, there are not a few tasks to be studied in the future in relation to these regions. First of all, in the case of the Americas, no more in-depth research has been conducted on immigration. And the most important point in the independence movement in the Americas is that the United States has been an important provider of funds for the independence movement in the history of the Korean independence movement. And the independence movement in the Americas was moving in considerable proportion to the activities of the Korean Provisional Government Korea in China. If the activities of the Korean Provisional Government were actively carried out, the independence movement in the Americas was also active, and on the contrary, if the activities of the Korean Provisional Government were stagnant, the independence movement in the United States tended to shrink. As such, the Korean Provisional Government and the independence movement in the Americas were closely linked to each other. Therefore, the history of independence movements in the Americas needs to be studied as an extension of the Korean Provisional Government. Next, in the case of the Japan, since the main topics of the Korean community were labors, labor conditions, labor organizations, and labor movements are bound to be the most important topics. In particular, it is necessary to conduct more in-depth research on the Korean labor movement in Japan, given that Korean labors were the main topic of the Japanese labor movement since the 1930s. And since one of the pillars of the Korean community along with Korean labors in Japan is Korean students, groups of Korean students, student organizations, and independence movements should be the main research topics.
