국문 초록

이 글은 ≪한국근현대사연구≫ 1~ 99집에 게재된 현대사 분야 논문 중 대외관계사 및 북한사를 다룬 연구성과를 검토하였다. 현대 대외관계사에 관한 연구성과를 한미 관계, 한일 관계, 한중 관계 그리고 해외 한인의 귀환과 미귀환문제로 나누어 살펴보았다. 또한 남한과의 특수한 관계를 감안하여 북한사 연구성과를 함께 다루었다. ≪한국근현대사연구≫에 게재된 한국 현대사 분야 연구성과의 양적 비중은 크지 않으나, 해방후 한인의 귀환 및 미귀환 연구 등은관련 연구의 심화에 크게 기여하였다. 한미 관계에서는 미국의 대한 선전정책과도미 유학 등을 주제로 한 연구, 한일 관계에서는 일본의 역사 인식과 재일조선인의 처지를 다룬 연구, 한중 관계에서는 연변 조선인 사회의 형성과 변천에 관한 연구 등이 중요한 기여를 하였다. 북한사 분야에서도 사학사를 비롯하

영문 초록

This paper reviews the studies on the history of foreign relations and the history of North Korea among the articles in the field of contemporary history published in Journal of Korean Modern and Contemporary History . It dealt with the studies on the history of contemporary foreign relations were divided into Korea-US relations, Korea-Japan relations, Korea-China relations, and the issue of the return and not returned of Koreans abroad. Although there are not many studies on Korean contemporary history published in JKMCH , issue of the return and non-return of Koreans after liberation has greatly contributed to the development of related research. Also, in Korea-U.S. relations, studies on American propaganda policies and studies abroad in the U.S., studies on Japanese historical perception and the situation of Zainichi Koreans in Korea-Japan relations, and studies on the formation and change of Yanbian Korean society in Korea-China relations, etc. made an important contribution. In the field of North Korean history, studies that approached social history and everyday life history as well as historiography draw attention.
