국문 초록

이 글은 한국 현대 사회·경제사 분야에서 ≪한국근현대사연구≫(이하 ≪한근연≫)가 이룩한 연구성과에 대해 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 분석 대상성과들은 ≪한근연≫ 99집까지 수록된 60여 편의 현대 사회·경제사 관련 논문들이다. 연구논문들의 상대적 비율이나 시기별·주제별·투고자별 기준을 통한 정량적 분석을 통해 ≪한근연≫에 수록된 현대 사회·경제사 연구의 위치에 대해확인하고, 연구의 경향성을 분석하였다. ≪한근연≫에는 수록된 209편의 현대사 논문 중에, 현대 사회·경제사 관련논고는 61편이 수록되어 있다. 논고들의 주제 시기는 학계의 연구 경향을 반영하여 미군정기부터 1공화국기에 68.3% 의 논고가 수록되어 있다. 전반적으로2010년대를 기점으로 시기와 대상에서 지속적으로 연구가 확장되었다. 주목할만한 점은 ≪한근연≫에 수록된 현대 사회·경제사 분야 논고의 필진은 80년대 학번이 중심이 되고 있다. 80년대 민주화 이후 대대적으로 근현대사를 전공하는 연구자들이 증가했기 때문이며, ≪한근연≫이 체계화되고 성장하는 시점인2000년대 중반 이후에, 80년대 학번의 왕성한 활동이 이어졌다는 점이 또 다른이유가 될 것이다. 이는 한편으로 학문 후속세대들의 연구가 아직은 미진한 점을 드러낸다. 마지막으로 사회·경제사 분야 연구의 증진을 위해 학회 차원에서 제시되어야할 점들에 대해 제시하였다. 첫째, 연구 대상 시기와 주제의 다변화가 필요하다. 둘째, 현대사 관련 자료 소개 및 활용 방안에 대한 적극적인 활동이 필요하다. 셋째, 현대사 분야에 대한 신진 연구자의 발굴과 연구 활동 영역 확대가 필요하다. 넷째, 타 학회 및 학문 분과와의 학술활동 연계가 필요하다. 다섯째, 엄격한심사 기준과 함께 손쉬운 투고 여건을 마련해야 한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this article is to examine the research achievements achieved by Journal of Krean Modern and contemporary History (hereinafter referred to as Han Geun-yeon) in the field of modern Korean social and economic history. The achievements to be analyzed are about 60 papers related to modern social and economic history containing up to volume 99 by Han Geun-yeon. Through quantitative analysis through the relative ratio of research papers or criteria by period, subject, and contributor, the location of modern social and economic history studies contained in Han Geun-yeon was confirmed, and the tendency of the study was analyzed. Of the 209 modern history papers included in Han Geun-yeon, 61 are related to modern social and economic history. The subject period of the thesis reflects the research trend of the academic world, and 68.3% of the thesis is contained in the first republic period from the US military period. Overall, it can be seen that research has been continuously expanded from the 2010s to the time and target. It is noteworthy that the writing of the thesis in the field of modern social and economic history included in Han Geun-yeon is centered on the class of 1980s. This is because the number of researchers majoring in modern and contemporary history has increased extensively since democratization in the class of 1980s, and another reason is that after the mid-2000s, when Han Geun-yeon was systematized and growing. On the other hand, it reveals that the research of the next generation of academics is still insufficient. Finally, points to be presented at the academic level were presented to promote research in the field of social and economic history. First, it is necessary to diversify the timing and subject of the study. Second, active activities on how to introduce and utilize data related to modern history are needed. Third, it is necessary to discover emerging researchers in the field of modern history and expand the area of research activities. Fourth, it is necessary to link academic activities with other academic societies and academic departments. Fifth, it is necessary to prepare easy posting conditions along with strict screening standards.
