국문 초록

코로나 시대라는 전염병 유행의 시대를 살아가면서 새로운 세상의 변화와 그 한계를 우리는 여실히 지켜보고 있다. 장기화되어 가는 이러한 흐름들 속에 각 개인에서부터 교회 공동체에 이르기까지 일선 사목 현장에서 부터 그 위기와 변화의 모습에 당혹감과 두려움을 지니지 않을 수 없는 오늘날의 현실을 마주하고 있다. 전통적인 사목의 개념에서 사목은 그리스도께서 하신 것처럼 인격적인 상호만남에서 이루어진다. 이러한 사목의 이해는 오늘날 기술의 발달의 시대에서도 간과될 수 없는 본질적인 사목의 특성이다. 그런데, 코로나 시대의 장기화로 인해 이러한 사목의 본성의 특징이 적용될 수 있는지에 대한 물음이 생길 수밖에 없다. 이른바 방역 차원에서의 사회적 거리두기의 시대에서 사목은 인격적인 만남과 더불어 공동체의 성격을 계속해서 유지할 수 있는지 생각해 보게 된다. 그런데, 아무리 기술이 발달하고 시대가 개인화된다 하더라도, 변하지 않는 것은 사람은 사람을 필요로 한다는 것이다. 특히 오늘날의 시장경제 원리의 세상에서 코로나 전염병의 극복을 위해서는 함께 하는 연대와 협력이 아니면 어려운 위기와 현실을 맞이하게 됨을 프란치스코 교황은 회칙 『모든 형제들』을 통하여 명확히 밝혀 주고 있다. 이러한 맥락에서 서로 간의 물리적 거리두기의 간격이 실제로 사목적인 친교와 나눔마저도 상실되는 시대를 만들어 가서는 안 된다. 그렇기 때문에 포스트 코로나 시대의 사목적인 시각들을 다시금 생각해 볼 수 있다. 이제 예전으로 돌아가는 시대는 오지 않는다. 또 다른 관점과 변화, 쇄신을 위한 시대에 대한 고민을 교회공동체는 하여야 하고 또 직면해 있다. 개별적 차원의 사회문화적 요인들이 강화되어야 하지만, 이것이 공동체를 지향하는 변화의 모습으로 이루어지는 통합적 사목의 의식이 요청된다. 동시에 기존의 고정된 사목자의 역할이 아니라, 기다리지 않고 찾아나서는 적극적인 노력이 필요하다. 이는 점점 더 개인화되는 선택적 신앙이 되지 않기 위한 우선적인 노력이어야 할 것이다. 또한 사회적 거리두기가 인간적 거리두기로 전락하여 본연의 사목의 의미가 퇴색되지 않도록 인간적 거리두기를 좁히기 위한 의식적인 노력이 계속되어야 한다. 예측할 수 없는 변화의 코로나 시기는 위기이지만 동시에 기회임을 생각하면서 시대적 징표를 이해하고 받아들이려는 시도와 노력은 계속되어야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

As we live in the era of the epidemic of the COVID-19, we are clearly watching the changes and limitations of the new world. Amid these prolonged trends, front-line blind spots, from individuals to church communities, are facing a reality that cannot help but be embarrassed and afraid of the crisis and change. In the traditional concept, pastoral takes place in personal mu tual encounters, as Christ did. The understanding of pastoral is an essential characteristic of private items that cannot be overlooked even in today’s era of technological development. However, due to the prolonged covid 19, there is no choice but to be a question as to whether the characteristics of the nature of the pastoral can be applied. In the so-called era of social distancing at the level of quarantine, we think about whether the pastoral can continue to maintain the character of the community along with personal encounters. However, no matter how advanced technology is and the times become personalized, what does not change is that people need people. In particular, in the world of market economy principles, Pope Francis clarifies through the encyclical Fratelli Tutti that we will face difficult crises and realities unless we are together in solidarity and cooperation to overcome the Corona epidemic. In this context, the gap between physical distancing between each other should not create an era in which even private friendship and sharing are actually lost. Therefore, we can reconsider the private views of the post-COVID-19 era. The era of returning to the past does not come. The church community must and is facing another perspective, change, and the era for reform. A sense of integrated pastoralization is required so that socio-cultural factors at the individual level can be strengthened and at the same time in the form of change aimed at the community. In addition, active efforts are needed to find it without waiting, not the role of the existing fixed pastoral. This can be a priority effort not to become an increasingly personalized selective belief. In addition, conscious efforts to narrow human distancing should be continued so that the meaning of the original private item does not fade as social distancing has degenerated into human distancing. Attempts and efforts to understand and accept the signs of the times, thinking that the COVID-19 period of unpredictable change is a crisis, but at the same time, it is an opportunity, should continue.
