佛家 禪詩의 美意識

국문 초록

본 논고에서는 ｢佛家 禪詩의 美意識｣을 고찰하였다. 이에 불가 선시에 드러난 전반적이 미의식의 특징을 조명하기 위하여 불가 선시의 배경을 한국 佛家 禪僧의 法脈을 중심으로 살펴보았다. 이에 선시를 이룬 禪詩僧과 그들의 선시 속에 드러난 미의식의 특징을 검토하여 본고에서 그 특징 중 반관의 미의식을 연구 범위로 하였다. 팔만대장경의 심오한 불교사상과 1천 7백의 格外의 도리 公案 전체가 불립문자의 宗旨에서 문자를 떠나지 못한 결과물로 남겨진 것이다. 선종에서 不立文字라고 하였지만 求道 悟道의 방법과 정신을 제자에게 전하기 위해서는 언어문자라는 도구를 사용 할 수 밖에 없었던 것이었다. 眞空妙有의 선의 세계에서 어떠한 언어나 문자도 용납하지 않을 뿐만 아니라 일체의 형식적인 틀도 거부 하였지만 그럼에도 불구하고 불가의 선의 세계와 언어 美學의 상관성은 不離文字의 관계성을 거부 할 수가 없었음을 고찰 할 수 있었다. 이런 관점에서 선시 문학을 이해하기 위해서는 선시 속에 드러난 禪僧들의 美意識을 이해하는 일이 선행 되어져야 부분에 문제를 제기하고 불가 선승의 照顧脚下의 기초 수행 관법을 통한 선시와 禪의 오도의 경지를 시를 통해 말한 미의식을 살펴 볼 수 있었다. 우선 우리나라 불가 선수행 사상이 선시에 투영된 내용을 ‘照顧脚下’의 불가 관법 수행에서 실마리를 찾아냈다. ‘不立文字 · 敎外別傳 · 直指人心 · 見性成佛’의 경계를 표출하였던 禪의 입장에서 ‘平常心是道’의 자연스러운 조고각하 반관의 수행관을 觀物觀我 觀我觀物의 미의식으로 나누어 고찰하였다. ① 觀物의 美意識에서 선시 속에서 선가의 外的 사실을 객관적인 언어로 표현함에 ‘照顧脚下’ 즉 ‘反觀’을 바탕으로 한 미의식을 볼 수 있었다. 불립문자가 문자에 집착하지 말라는 不着文字의 뜻이지, 不用文字는 아니라는 관점을 통하여 문자로 말미암은 장애를 일으키지 않고 그 妙理를 전달한 선시이다. ‘虛心觀物’의 수행을 통하여 ‘平常心是道’를 禪語로 전하는 속에 조고각하 관물의 미의식이 들어 있음을 확인하였다. ② 觀我의 美意識에서 觀我反觀은 자신을 통해 진여의 깨달음을 찾는 止觀의 과정을 선시를 통해 설한 내용임을 고찰하였다. 禪定에 드는 일은 본래 한물건도 없는 것을 바로 아는 것이다. 여기에는 바로 나라고 하는 것도 없는 것이니 觀我觀法을 통하여 無我의 道를 증득한 禪語의 悟道詩에서 관아의 미의식을 찾아 볼 수 있었다. 이상과 같이 ‘照顧脚下’의 선수행을 통해 남긴 禪語에서 불가의 禪詩에 드러난 美意識으로 반관의 미의식을 중심으로 고찰하였다.

영문 초록

In this thesis, I will intend to discuss ｢The Aesthetic Consciousness of A Buddhist Dhyana(Zen) Poetry｣ In this institute, ｢Korean Chinese Literature Aesthetic Approach (Ⅱ)｣ under the planning theme about that. The author received the presentation title is ｢The Aesthetic Consciousness of a Buddhist Dhyana(Zen) Poetry｣. From before interested in Buddhism Chinese poetry to the concreted narrowed planning theme, Buddhist Chines poetry those are to guess the interested in Buddhist Poetry. Not yet the undeveloped area is Buddhist poetry contents covers the many parts of our Chinese literature scope, So in the study of Chinese literature, the interested in Chinese literature has to accomplish with continuously. In this study, this undeveloped area, the Buddhist Chinese poetry aesthetic consciousness concept development is a careful part. During the interested in the study of Dhyana(Zen) Poetry contents which is searched the base of the aesthetic consciousness I am narrowed the scope of this study as ｢The Aesthetic Consciousness of a Buddhist Dhyana(Zen) Poetry｣. The scope of The Aesthetic consciousness of a Buddhist Chinese poetry is based this study and I intend to delay after supplement.. At first I searched formation background which can be based of contents of Buddhist Dhyana(Zen) poetry and dealt with research scope centering the beauty of thought in the bright thinking under leg which is one of the Buddhism ascetic exercises view way about a variety of aesthetic consciousness world which was revealed in it. In this view point, in order to understand the Dhyana(Zen) poetry, it has to understand that Dhyana(Zen) monk s aesthetic consciousness which is appeared in the Dhyana(Zen) poetry. That is preceding task. The aesthetic consciousness of appearing Dhyana(Zen) poetry literature needs to understand the Buddhist s Zen Buddhism of course, and it would be the last to overlook this fact which is worry about loss of original form when Buddhism thought too much emphasizes in Buddhist literature. Therefore, author deeply brings to interest in Dhyana(Zen) poetry which pursuits language aesthetics of non-separation letters in the course from the state of non-stand letters which is the Buddhist s attainment of Nirvana. To approach this Buddhist Dhyana(Zen) poetry world, at first ascetic exercises practitioner s aesthetic consciousness which is appeared in Dhyana(Zen) poetry. I study that, and intend to by way of the basis Dhyana(Zen) poetry which can be watched many Dhyana(Zen) monks face intently.
