국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 동사 ‘당하다’가 가지는 다의어적인 의미를 ‘NP+X 당하다’ 구문의 분석을 통해 재분류를 하는 것이다. 형태 중심의 사전적 기술은 ‘당하다’의 다의어적 성격을 잘 반영할 수 없기 때문에 동사의 선행 요소인 ‘NP’구와 함께 구문의 구조와 의미 기능을 살펴 범주화 하는 것이 목표이다. 이를 위해 먼저 사전적 기술의 문제점에 대해서 살펴본 후에 ‘NP+X 당하다’ 구문의 통사적 구조 의미를 비교·분석해서 논항과 그에 따른 의미역을 정할 것이다. 각 논항은 ‘비교역’, ‘이동완료역’, ‘출발점역’, ‘대상역’으로 설정하였으며, 구문의 분석을 돕기 위해 ‘경험주역’과 ‘행위주역’을 추가하였다. 또한 ‘NP+X 당하다’ 구문이 문장 속에서는 어떤 기능을 하고 있는지에 따라 다의어들을 ‘비교’, ‘이동완료’, ‘경험주의 부정적 경험’, ‘부정적인 환경 극복’의 네 가지의 그룹으로 분류하였다. 마지막 작업으로 앞서 분석한 통사적·의미적 분석을 토대로 [±동작성], [±피해성], [±적극성]의 의미자질 설정하고 이 기준에 따라 구문을 범주화 하고 있다. 이러한 작업을 통해서 다의어에 대한 총체적인 이해가 가능하게 될 것이다.

영문 초록

A purpose of this report is reclassifying polysemous word meanings which a verb Danghada has by analyzing NP+X Danghada(당하다) construction. Since form-oriented lexicographic description can not reflect polysemous word-meanings of Danghada adequately. It is the goal to categorize them after taking a look at both NP phrase that is a verb s precedence element and the structure and semantic function of the sentence. To do this, Examining problems of lexicographic description is implemented frist. Then, comparison analysis on syntactic structural meaning of NP+X Danghada sentence is carried out in order to determine arguments that are needed for the phases and semantic roles. When it comes to each argument, comparison role, resultant role, source role theme role are set. An ‘experiencer’ and ‘agent’ are added as well. I also divided polysemous world into four as ‘comparison’, ‘movement completion’, ‘experiencer negative experiences’, ‘overcome negative situation’ depending on which function NP+X Danghada serves I the construction. As a final task, I set semantic feature over [±action], [±damage] and [±activeness] according to the syntactic·semantic analysis that has been done earlier and categorized NP+X Danghada sentence base on the semantic feature. It will be possible to understand polysemous word entirely through these study.
