국내 학술지를 중심으로 한 유·초·중등 발명 교육 연구 동향 분석

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 국내 학술지에 게재된 유아 및 초·중등 발명 교육 연구 동향을 분석하는데 있다. 이를 위해 ‘연도’, ‘연구 주제’, ‘연구 대상’, ‘연구 방법’, ‘관련 교과’ 등의 5개 항목으로 관련 논문을 분석하였으며, 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 연도별로 보면 1992년에서 2004년까지의 연구는 12편에 불과했으나, 2005년에서 2009년까지는 61편, 2010년에서 2014년까지는 138편의 연구가 이루어지는 등 점차 연구가 늘어나고 있다. 둘째, 연구 주제별로 보면 ‘교수 방법 및 모형 구안’(76편), ‘현황 조사’(50편), ‘교수 방법 및 모형 효과 검증’(38편), ‘경향 및 변인 관계 분석’(36편) 등의 순으로 나타났다. 셋째, 연구 대상별로 보면 ‘문헌’(91편), ‘학생’(83편), ‘교사’(47편), ‘전문가’(43편), ‘예비교사’(13편), ‘학부모’(4편) 등의 순으로 나타났다. 넷째, 연구 방법별로 보면 ‘양적 연구’(91편), ‘혼합 연구’(53편), ‘문헌 연구’(47편), ‘질적 연구’(20편) 등의 순으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 관련 교과별로 분석한 결과 ‘실과’(24편), ‘기술’(23편), ‘과학’(7편) 등의 순으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구 결과를 기초로 추후의 유아 및 초·중등 발명 교육 연구에서는 이미 개발된 교수 방법이나 모형의 효과를 검증할 필요가 있으며, 예비 교사나 학부모를 대상으로 한 발명 교육 연구가 수행될 필요가 있다. 또한, 향후의 연구에서는 좀 더 타당한 표집 방법이나 실험 설계 방법을 활용한 연구가 수행되어야 필요가 있으며, 다양한 교과에서 발명 관련 연구가 수행되어야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

The goal of this study was to analyze the research trends of invention education in early childhood, elementary and secondary education. To accomplish this goal, this study analyzed the journal papers by ‘published year’, ‘research topic’, ‘research subject’, ‘research method’ and ‘related school subject’. Followings are the conclusions of this study. First, by the year, there were only 12 studies from 1992 to 2004; 61 pieces from 2005 to 2009; 138 pieces from 2010 to 2014, that means the number of invention studies have been increased. Second, regarding the research topic, the number of study followed by ‘construction of teaching methods and models’(76 pieces), ‘study of current status’(50 pieces), ‘verification of teaching methods and models effect’(38 pieces) and ‘analysis of tendencies and variables relationship’(36 pieces). Third, regarding the research subject, the number of study followed by ‘literature’(91 pieces), ‘student’(83 pieces), ‘teacher’(47 pieces), ‘professor’(43 pieces), ‘pre-service teacher’(13 pieces) and ‘parents’(4 pieces). Fourth, regarding the research subject, the number of study followed by ‘quantitative research’(91 pieces), ‘integrated research’(53 pieces), literature research’(47 pieces) and ‘qualitative research’(20 pieces). Fifth, regarding the related subject, the number of study followed by ‘practical arts’(24 pieces), ‘technology’(23 pieces) and ‘science’(7 pieces). Based on the results of this study, there are the needs for further studies to identify effect on the developed teaching methods and models in early childhood, elementary and secondary invention education, perform further studies for pre-service teachers and parents. Also, there are the needs for further studies using more reasonable sampling and experimental design methods and investigating the effects in various school subjects.
