선취업-후진학 체제 이후 특성화고 학생들의 변화 양상

국문 초록

2010년 중등직업교육 정책은 취업중심의 선취업-후진학 체제로 전환되었다. 이 연구는 선취업-후진학 체제 전환 이후 특성화고 학생들의 변화 양상을 탐색하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 A특성화고를 대상으로 사례연구를 실시하였다. 사례연구를 위해 문서정보, 기록정보, 면담, 직접관찰을 통해 자료를 수집하였고, 학생들의 변화 양상을 학생 자원, 학습태도, 생활태도, 진로선택의 네 측면에서 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 다음과 같은 변화가 나타나고 있었다. 학생 자원 측면에서 특성화고 지원 동기가 우선취업을 목표로 한 확고한 진로의식에 의한 것으로 변화되고, 학력이 우수한 학생이 증가하였다. 학습태도 측면에서 자기주도학습 학생 수가 증가하고, 학업내용에 대한 관심이 증대되었으며, 높은 학습의욕과 성취감으로 학업중단률이 낮아졌다. 생활태도 측면에서 스스로 규칙을 지키려는 의지가 강해졌고, 패배의식과 상실감 대신 자신감과 자부심을 갖게 되었으며, 부정적 자아의식에서 긍정적 자아의식으로, 그리고 생활태도와 학업태도에서 자기관리 능력이 증대되는 변화가 나타났다. 또한 대다수 학생이 진학대신 취업으로 진로를 선택하는 변화도 나타났다.

영문 초록

In 2010 secondary vocational education policy has changed to the‘Work First-then to College System’ focused on employment. The purpose of this study is to investigate the change phase of students after ‘Work First-then to College System’. For this the case study was conducted on a Specialized vocational high school. The data was collected through documented data, recorded data, interview and direct observation. Four aspects of student resources, learning attitude, living attitude and career selection were analyzed for the change phase of students. Major results are as follows: In the aspects of student resources, students with excellent records increased and the motive to apply for the specialized vocational high school changed first by clear career awareness with a goal to find a job. Regarding learning attitude, the number of self-directed learning students increased and the interest in learning contents rose and the learning suspension rate decreased due to learning motive and a sense of accomplishment. When it comes to living attitude, the will to observe rules voluntarily became stronger and instead of a sense of defeat and loss, they got to have self-confidence and self-respect, and their negative self-perception changed to positive self-perception, and their self-regulation ability in living attitude and learning attitude increased. In addition, most of the students changed career selection from admission to employment.
