청소년 인터넷·게임·미디어 중독 해결을 위한 교원 연수 및 정책 요구 분석

국문 초록

사회 변화에 따라 학교 현장에서 전문적인 학생상담의 요구가 증가하고 있다. 본 연구는 중독 문제에 대한 학교의 상담역량 개발이 필요하다는 인식 하에 인터넷·게임을 포함한 청소년의 인터넷 및 게임 중독관련 상담 정책에 대해 교사들의 인식과 요구를 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 인터넷 및 게임 중독 결정 요인과 인터넷·게임중독예방을 위한 전문상담교사와 교사 훈련에 관한 선행 연구를 정리하였다. 청소년들의 인터넷 및 게임 중독에는 자기관련 변인과 정서변인 등 심리적 구인이 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 기존의 학교 교사를 위한 상담역량 개발 연수 프로그램 현황을 파악해 보면 다양한 상담 기법과 실용적 교육내용을 포괄하는 교원 연수 프로그램이 운영되고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 전문가 의견 수렴 방식인 델파이 패널 조사를 활용하여 미디어 중독과 관련된 교원 연수, 학교 현장과 기관의 역할 및 비전 등에 관해 학교 교사와 상담사의 의견을 조사하였다. 우선 추진 요구과제로 교사 및 상담원 등 일선 학교에서의 실무자들은 미디어 중독 학생들을 위한 구체적 상담기법이나 교육법, 대처법 등 실용적인 교육내용 제공을 필요로 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 기존의 교원 연수 프로그램에서도 대부분 공통적으로 다루고 있는 내용으로 좀 더 확대하거나 유지시킬 것이 요구된다. 연수 프로그램 내용구성 외에도 교사·상담사들은 담당기관과 기구의 정책적 지원을 요구하였다. 특히 중독 학생들에 대한 단발성 상담이 아닌 지속적이고 체계적인 추수 관리와 현실과 괴리되지 않도록 상담 장면과 삶의 연계성 유지 등을 통해 상담의 내실화를 꾀해야 한다는 지적이 많았다.

영문 초록

Along with social changes, student and parent needs for school roles are increasing. The current study aimed to analyze teacher recognitions and needs of students’ Internet, game, and media addictions as a response to the social needs for professional school counselors in school environment and teacher training. The existent study showed students’ psychological factors appeared to affect their media addition most and importance of professional school counselors. Although the current school-teacher training programs targets to prevent students’ media addiction, further enhancement of the programs and policy supports seem necessary. A Delphi panel survey, a representative method for collecting expert opinions, was conducted to investigate teacher training and institutional roles and visions for preventing students’ media addictions. The Importance and the convergence of the opinions suggested an actual counseling skills, educational processes, coping skills as the number one promotion works with regard to teacher training policies. The results were consistent with a portion of the existent teacher training programs, which are, thus, required to be extended or maintained. In addition to construction of the training programs, the respondents asked more active supports from public institutes and organizations. A constant and systematic follow-up management, not a one-shot counseling, for addicted students were also requested. Information exchanges between schools and home for student behaviors should be maintained for fruitful policies.
