국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 휠체어를 사용하는 지체부자유 학생들의 자세변형을 평가하고, 인체측정을 통한 자료와 휠체어의 부위별 치수와의 비교 검토를 통해 휠체어 사용과 관련된 자세 문제를 밝히고자 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 대상자의 대부분이 자신의 체형과 기능, 그리고 장애에 맞지 않는 휠체어를 사용하고 있었으며, 이로 인한 다양한 신체 부위의 관절구축과 자세변형을 가지고 있었다. 또한 휠체어 앉기 균형능력이 부족하고 비정상적인 근긴장도를 보였는데, 이는 자세변형을 유발할 수 있는 원인이 된다. 따라서 착석시스템의 자세지지를 통한 맞춤형 휠체어(special seating)의 사용이 요구되며, 체계적이고 전문화된 휠체어 서비스를 위한 제도 마련 및 전문가에 의한 객관적이고 과학적인 평가 과정이 요구된다.

영문 초록

This paper has two central goals: 1) to assess the postural deformities of wheelchair users with disabled students; and 2) to analyse the effects that can lead wheelchair users to a postural deformities as a compare anthropometric data with wheelchair size. The following results were obtained: All of the disabled students in our study has a postural deformities and did not possess an appropriate wheelchair in terms of their need, disability and body size. And besides, many children with disabilities need more postural support than is provided by an ordinary wheelchair. Therefore in the first place, the optimal seating position and seating system in wheelchair ought to provide postural control. And so prevent postural deformity. In the second place, identifying the special seating requires multiple evaluations by a wheelchair specialist.
