지체부자유 부모의 스트레스 대처전략에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 지체 부자유 부모들이 스트레스에 대한 대처행동을 나타내기 전 단계인 대처전략을 세움에 있어, 가장 좋은 대처전략을 인지과정에서 도출해 낼 수 있도록 돕고자 시도되었다. B시와 S시에 소재하는 H학교와 W학교 지체부자유 부모(n=88)를 대상으로 설문지 조사법에 따라 대처전략 유형과 경향, 영향 요인에 따른 특성을 중심으로 검토한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 제시할 수 있었다. 첫째, 지체부자유아 부모의 대처전략 척도의 네 하위 영역별 스트레스 대처수준은 긍정적 사고 전략 영역에서 가장 높은 대처수준을 나타내었고, 사회·종교적 대처전략 영역에서 가장 낮은 대처 수준을 나타내었다. 둘째, 지체부자유아 부모의 스트레스 대처전략 수준은 지체부자유아의 학부(학령), 장애정도, 성별에 따라 차이가 있었다. 지체부자유아의 학부(학령)가 중학부일 때 지체부자유 부모의 대처수준이 가장 낮게 나타났으며 이것은 일반적으로 고등부의 대처수준이 가장 낮을 것으로 예상할 수 있는 것에 비춰볼 때, 특기할 만한 결과이며 이에 대한 인식 전환과 지원이 필요함을 시사한다. 셋째, 장애 정도는 경도부모가 가장 긍정적인 사고를 하고 있는 것으로 나타나 중등도와 중도 부모의 긍정적 사고를 유발하고 진작 시킬 수 있는 부모 교육 프로그램이 절실히 요청됨을 시사한다. 넷째, 성별에 따른 대처 수준은 사회 종교적 대처전략 영역에서 남아보다 여아에 더 높게 나타났다. 이는 우리 나라의 남아 선호사상에서 비롯되는 것으로 보여지며 이에 대한 부모의 인식전환이 필요하다. 또한 주 양육자인 어머니에 대한 아버지의 협조를 통해 부모가 함께 아동에 대해 대처해 나가는 부모교육 프로그램 적용이 필요함을 시사한다. 다섯째, 지체부자유아 부모의 특성에 따른 스트레스 대처수준은 부모의 연령과 종교 유무, 수입에 따라 차이가 있었다. 즉 연령은 40대 이상이며 종교가 있거나, 수입이 많을 때 부모의 대처수준은 높아지는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

This research has been tried to help to draw the most appropriate coping strategy before coping behavior about stress in the cognitive process of parent of children with physical disabilities. We can make a conclusion which focused on the type, the trend and of coping strategy and characteristics according to influence factor based on the research which has been done accoding to questionare investigation by eighty eight parents of children with physical disabilities of H school and W school in B city and S city. First, The coping level of four lower area of coping strategy in coping strategy scale of the parent of children with physical disabilities shows the highest coping level in the positive thinking strategy area and the lowest in the socio-religious strategy area. Second, The level of stress coping strategy of the parent of children with physical disabilities has difference according to the age school and the degree of disabilities and sex. The fact that their level of coping strategy was the lowest when children with physical disabiliies are in the age of middle school comparing to the idea that we re apt to think the level would be the lowest in high school ages is the noticable, and it shows that we needs support and conversion of thought about this. Third, in the level of disabilities the research shows that the parents of children with mild physical disabilities have the most positive thinking. So we need indeed some education programs for parents which enhance and trigger positive thinking of parents of children with severe physical disabilities and rather mild. Four, in the level of coping strategy according to sex socio-religious coping strategy part shows higher in girls than in boys. I think that this result come from the preference thought for boy and we can know that need conversion of thinking of parents about it. In addition, there must be a parent education program for those parent to treat the child well together with the help of a father for a mother who is main rearer. Five, The level of coping strategy about stress according to characteristics of parent of children with physical disabilities shows differences according to the income, the age of the parent and the religion. : In other words, The level of coping recorded high. When the age of the parent was over 40 and the parents have riligion and they have much income.
