학습공동체 작업을 통한 영유아중심· 놀이중심 개정 표준보육과정 적용 과정에 대한 탐구

국문 초록

본 논문은 어린이집 교사들이 영유아중심·놀이중심으로 개정된 표준보육과정을 현장에서 어떻게 적용하는지 그 과정을 탐구하여 교사들의 경험으로부터 의미를 도출함으로써, 교사교육 내용 및 학습공동체와 관련된 교사교육 형태의 지원방법을 모색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 연구자가 촉진자 역할을 수행하며 교사들이 스스로 연구, 성찰, 실천해 가는 학습공동체 작업을 통한 질적 연구방법을 실시했다. 참여 교사는 신입과 경력교사 집단 각 8명씩이었다. 그 결과 ‘주제와 계획은 울타리’, ‘놀이중심 교육의 시작은 놀이자료의 변화로부터’, ‘조심스러운 놀이지도’, ‘영유아의 놀이와 친해지기’, ‘영유아에게 물어보기’, ‘어색하지만 행복한 어린이들’, ‘넘어야 할 쉽지 않은 산’, ‘적용하기 어려운 교사교육’의 주제들이 도출되었다. 지금까지 사용해 왔던 주제와 계획은 강하게 자리를 잡고 있어 교사들이 벗어나기 쉽지 않았다. 놀이중심 교육을 위한 방법과 전략은 소극적으로 적용되어 활발한 토론과 교류가 어려웠다. 교사들에게는 영유아중심 교육에 대한 개념 정리가 필요했으며, 원장의 적극적인 지원, 놀이지도의 질적 보장을 위한 평가 기준과, 주입식 교육이 아닌 교사들이 주체가 되고 전문가가 동반된 학습공동체 운영 지원이 절실했다. 앞으로 학습공동체 운영은 신입과 경력 교사가 혼합된 집단이 효과적이며, 교사중심·주제중심 지도, 계획된 활동에 영유아의 흥미 반영, 개방적인 놀이자료 지원, 영유아의 자발적인 놀이지원, 놀이 흐름 지원의 순서로 단계적인 변화를 시도하도록 지원하는 것이 필요하다.

영문 초록

This paper is to find ways to support teacher education with the education contents and learning communities by exploring the process of applying the infant and play-oriented revised standard childcare process in the field. To this end, researcher served as facilitators in learning community and implemented qualitative research methods through teachers work in a learning community in which they self-studied, reflected, and practiced. 8 new and experienced teachers each participated in the study As the results of study, the following topics were drawn: ‘The subject and plan is a fence’, ‘The play-oriented education starts from the change of play materials’, ‘Cautious play guidance’, ‘Infants getting familiar with play’, ‘Asking to infants’, ‘Awkward but happy infants’, ‘A difficult challenge to clear ‘, ‘Difficult to apply teacher training’. It was not easy to get out of the themes and plans that have been used so far as they were deeply strongly rooted and the methods and strategies for the play-oriented education were applied passively, making it difficult to have ctive discussion and exchange. For teachers, it is needed to put together the concept of infant-oriented education and it was essential to adopt evaluation criteria to ensure the quality of play guidance and support the operation of a learning community, led by teachers, with assistance of experts, instead of one-way learning by rote. It will be more effective to have the operation of the learning community led by a group of new and experienced teachers. And it is necessary to support step-by-step changes in the order of teacher-oriented and topic-oriented support, reflecting infants’ interest in planned activities, providing open play materials, voluntary play support for infants, and supporting play flows.
