국문 초록

이 논문은 흰돌 강희남 목사의 평전 『민족, 민중의 목자』를 중심으로 코로나 이후 한반도 평화와 통일, 한국 교회의 전망을 하고자 한다. 조선의 무능과 이완용 같은 매국노들의 일제에 대한 아부와 아첨의 빈민족적, 반국가적, 반민중적 배신의 역사에 대한 민족, 민중, 인간 해방의 혁명이 들불처럼 일어난 이듬해에 강 목사는 식민 통치 아래의 한반도에 태어났다. 그의 가정은 철저한 유교 가정의 전통을 지녀왔으며, 기독교와는 문화적 역사적 정서상 접목이 불가능한 가정이었던 것이다. 자본과 권력이 야합되고 유착된 역사가 지속되면 어는 시대나 가난하고 힘없는 민중들의 삶은 고달프고 지쳐간다. 진보냐, 보수냐, 혹은 자본주의냐, 공산주의냐, 사회주의 체제 틀이 중요한 것이 아니라 인간이 인간답게 살 수 있는 국가와 사회, 국가적 관계와 제도 등이 약자들의 차별 없는 하나님의 나라가 성취되고 실천되어야 한다. 역사는 항상 주변부와 가장자리로 소외되어 생산과 소비를 감당하는 민중들의 피를 먹고산다. “해가 지지 않는 나라 영국”이 물러가고 2차 대전을 지나는 동안 미소의 강대국들이 공산주의와 소위 자본주의 진영으로 등장하게 되었다. 이러한 과정에서 한반도는 이들의 먹잇감이 되고 미소의 양 진영 군인들의 한반도 점령을 통하여 통한의 분단을 겪게 되었다. 그나마 북의 소련군은 물러가고 남의 미군은 75년 된 지금까지 점령군으로 찢어지고 갈라져 원한이 된 민족의 혈육을 갈라놓고 있다. 한민족이 겪은 민족 세계 전쟁(6·25)은 ‘한 많은 미아리 고개’, 두만강, 대동강, 3·8선을 노래하게 했다. 이제 바야흐로 ‘굴뚝 시대’를 지나고 4차 산업의 시대. 인공지능(AI)과 빅데이터, 블록체인, 로봇이 인간의 노동을 지배하는 시대로 접어들었다. 그러나 여전히 세계의 남북의 양극화는 심화되고, 한반도의 남북의 양극화, 남북의 체제 속에서도 양극화의 삶은 심화, 확대, 재생산된다. 박정희 때 만들어진 소수 재벌 중심의 독점은 여전하고 오히려 “건널 수 없는 계곡” 이 되었다. 흰돌 강희남 목사의 절규는 지금도 생생하게 우리의 귓전을 울리고 있다. 농촌과 농민, 땅과 민중들을 사랑하고 불의한 독재 권력과 독점 자본주의 자들을 호통친 강 목사의 당당한 발걸음이 새로운 바람을 몰아치게 할 것이다. 예수 없는 교권과는 거리를 두면서도 일평생 교회를 사랑하고 예수 그리스도의 제자의 길을 꼿꼿이 걸어간 그 발자취는 조선의 선비인 듯, 아모스와 예레미야와 같은 구약성서의 예언자인 듯, 예수 그리스도의 푯대에 휘날리는 것처럼 펄럭인다.

영문 초록

This article provides aa critical biography of White Stone, aka Rev. Hee- Nam Kang. Rev. Kang Was born at the end of the Joseon dynasty during the revolution of national liberation and human liberation. His life stands in contrast to traitors like Lee Wan-yong. Early in his life, Rev. Kang had very little opportunity to interact with Christianity, culturally, historically, or emotionally, because he lived in a family that followed the Confucian tradition. If the history of the coalition of capital and power persists, the lives of the poor and powerless people of any age become painful, exhausted, and sick. The choice of which ideology is better, progressive or conservative, capitalism or communism, is not essential. It is vital to create a national society and international relations and institutions in which humans can live like human beings without the weak being discriminated against. These are the values that advance theKingdom of God. During World War II, the British and Japanese imperialism failed. After that, the world was reorganized into communist and a capitalist camps by two great powers, the US and the Soviet Union. In this process, the Korean Peninsula became their prey. The US and Soviet Union armies occupied the Korean Peninsula, and we, unfortunately, suffered division. The Soviet troops that had been dispatched to North Korea withdrew, but the US troops stationed in the south have remained for 75 years, a fact that raises tensions and exacerbates the division, The Korean War has been memorialized in songs such as’ the sad Miari Pass, the Duman River, ‘the Daedong River, and 3·8 line. Now the era of industrialization is over. And the age of tertiary industry has come. It is an era in which artificial intelligence, big data, block chains, and robots, replace human labor. However, the world’s polarization is still deepening, and the polarization between South and North Korea is also deepening. The monopoly economic system centered on a few conglomerates, created during the Park Chung-hee military regime, is solidifying. Discrimination between regular and non-regular workers is intensifying, and even minimum right to live of dismissed workers is under threat. However, the cry of Rev. Hee-Nam Kang, who desired a just history, the peaceful unification of the Korean Peninsula, and an fair world for the minjung, the subjects of history, echoes vividly in our hearts His footsteps resemble those of Joseon’s scholars, and he is also like the prophets of the Old Testament, such as Amos and Jeremiah. His mind flutters like a flag on the goal towards Jesus Christ
