국문 초록

더는 미룰 수 없는 청소년 사목 쇄신의 때에 한국 천주교회는『한국 천주교 청소년 사목 지침서』(2021)를 내놓았다. 본 연구는 교회 쇄신 원리인 시노달리타스의 관점에서 지침서를 분석하여 ‘또래 사도의 양성’을 목표로 한 ‘동반자 사목’과 ‘자율적이고 주도적인 판’을 강조하였다. 청소년은 복음화의 주체로서, 그들의 능동적이고 주도적인 참여와 이를 통한 하느님과 이웃과의 친교의 경험은 그들의 고유한 소망을 사명 실천과 일치시켜 또래 사도로 성장케 한다. 이를 위해 가정과 사목 현장 동반자들의 시노드 정신 (‘동반 여정’)이 요구된다. 또한 교회는 열린 공동체로서 청소년들이 성령의 이끄심에 따라 편안하고 안정적이며 자율적인 활동의 ‘판’을 마련할 필요가 있다. 본 연구는 특별히『청소년 사목 지침서를 위한 전국 단위 양적 연구』(2017)를 기반으로 청소년의 신앙생활에 관한 통계 분석을 실시하였다. 이로써 청소년은 부모의 기도 생활이 깊을수록, 성당 및 교리반이 편안하다고 느낄수록 하느님 체험과 같은 신앙 감각과 사명 수행의 봉사 실천이 높아짐을 검증하였다. 또한 청소년 동반 여정의 사례들을 대별하여 ‘열린 공간의 사목’, ‘(소규모) 인격적 동반사목’, ‘자발적 역할 체험의 사목’, ‘사명 실천의 사목’ 방향을 제시하였다. 끝으로 청소년 사목의 활성화를 위하여 ‘기도 생활과 나눔’, ‘생동감 있는 전례참여’, ‘성소의 다양성 고취’, ‘진정성 있는 동반’을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The Catholic Church in Korea released the Directory for Youth Ministry in the Catholic Church in Korea (2021) to respond to the renewal of youth ministry. This study analyzed the guidelines from the perspective of the Church's principle of renewal, “Synodality,” emphasizing the goal of fostering “peer apostles” through “companion spirituality” and “autonomous and proactive participation.” Youth, as the subjects of evangelization, grow as peer apostles by actively engaging in communion with God and neighbors, aligning their unique aspirations with the practice of their mission. To achieve this, the Synodal spirit (“companion journey”) of families and companions in the pastoral field is required. Additionally, the Church, as an open community, needs to provide platforms for youth activities that are comfortable, stable, and autonomous by caring of the Holy Spirit. This study specifically conducted statistical analysis on the faith life of youth based on the data set collected from a nationwide quantitative research(2017) for the “Directory for Youth Ministry”. As a result, findings report that as parents' prayer life deepens and youth feel more comfortable in the church and catechesis, their sense of faith experience, such as experiencing God, and their service in fulfilling their mission through service and charity, increase. Furthermore, by categorizing pastoral cases of companion journeys for youth, the study presented ministerial directions emphasizing “an open space,” “(small-scale) personal companion”, “voluntary role experience,” and “mission practice.” Finally, to activate youth ministry, the study suggests “prayer life and sharing,” “engaging in lively liturgy,” “enhancing the diversity of vocation,” and “authentic companionship.”
