국문 초록

본 연구는 자원봉사활동은 자원봉사자와 서비스 이용자 모두에게 사회적 자본효과를 창출할 수 있다는 전제 하에, 빈곤계층 자원봉사서비스 이용자를 대상으로 자원봉사서비스 품질이 사회적 자본에 미치는 영향과 이 과정에서 성별차이를 조절효과를 통해 확인하였다. 이를 위하여 Baron과 Kenny(1986)의 위계적 회귀분석 절차를 활용하였다. 분석결과, 첫째, 남성 서비스 이용자들이 서비스 품질 요인 중에서 대응성을 여성보다 상대적으로 더 높게 인식하였다. 둘째, 전체적 사회적 자본에 영향을 미치는 서비스 품질요인은 확신성, 대응성, 공감성이었고, 모두 긍정적으로 사회적 자본에 영향을 미치고 있었다. 셋째, 사회적 자본의 대인신뢰와 대응성 간에서 성의 조절효과가 나타났다. 넷째, 사회적 자본의 기관신뢰와 대응성 간에서 성의 조절효과가 나타났다. 이 같은 연구결과에 기초해서 이론적, 실천적 함의 및 신뢰를 높일 수 있는 자원봉사서비스의 대응성 증진 전략, 자원봉사서비스 성과로서 사회적 자본에 대한 자원봉사조직의 재인식의 필요성 등을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

This study assumes that volunteer work can create social capital effects for both volunteers and service users. In this perspectives, utilizing the survey data collecting from the volunteer service user of poors, this study identified the impact of volunteer service quality on social capital and furthermore, gender differences were confirmed through the moderating effect in this relationship. For this purpose, hierarchical regression procedures of Baron and Kenny(1986) were adapted. The main results are as follows. First, male service users perceived relatively higher responsiveness than women among service quality factors. Second, the service quality factors affecting overall social capital were assurance, responsiveness and empathy. All affected positively on social capital. Third, there was a moderating effect of gender between the interpersonal trust and responsiveness. Fourth, there was a gender moderating effect between institutional trust and responsiveness. Based on these findings, theoretical, practical implications and recommendations to enhance trust such as strategies for responsiveness improvement of volunteer services, the need for rerecognition of social capital as a volunteer service outcome, etc were presented.
