전쟁고아들의 실화와 기억의 장소성 회복을 위한 방안 연구

국문 초록

6.25전쟁의 최대 피해자중 하나는 전쟁고아다. 전쟁고아들은 전쟁이 무엇인지도 모르고 전쟁의 소용돌이 속에서 부모로부터 받아야 할 가장 기본적인 보호받을 권리를 빼앗겨야 했다. 이에 북한 정부의 대책으로 유럽 사회주의 형제국가들에게 도움을 요청하여 입양이 아닌 위탁 교육을 하는 것이었다. 폴란드에서의 ‘위탁교육’, ‘다시 북한으로 돌아가야만 하는 고아들’, ‘폴란드 사람들의 인류애’ 라는 묻혀있던 역사적 의의가 담긴 실화와 장소들은 고유한 지역문화자원으로써 가치가 있으며 보존되어야한다. 한반도에 있는 한 국민으로서 관심을 갖고 고찰하여 전쟁으로 인해 상처를 받았던 고아들을 지금이라도 위로, 공감, 안아줄 수 있는 기회를 가져야 할 필요가 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 6.25전쟁고아들이 머물던 장소들의 정체성을 되찾고, 역사적·문화적 자원들을 발굴, 재발견함으로써 새로운 문화 가치로 창출시켜 장소성을 회복시키고 지속적인 보존하기 위한 방안으로 폴란드로 이송된 6.25전쟁고아들이 전쟁당시부터 북송 후 삶의 과정을 기록한 사진, 영상자료, 다큐멘터리 등 자료들을 수집·분석을 통해 스토리텔링하여 모바일 어플리케이션을 활용한 역사투어리즘을 제안해 보았다. 콘텐츠를 통해 숨겨진 역사문화의 가치를 알릴 수 있고, 교훈이라는 교육적 유의미한 영향을 줄 수 있으며 지역의 가치를 높여 힐링의 도시브랜드로 만들어 지역경제 활성화에 이바지 할 수 있을 것이다. 더 나아가 당시 6.25전쟁고아들의 마음을 공감하고 위로하며 치유하는 방법이 될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

One of the biggest victims of the Korean War is a war orphan. War orphans, unaware of what war was, had to be deprived of the most basic right to be protected by their parents in the whirlpool of war. As a countermeasure of the North Korean government, it was to ask for help from the European socialist brothers and provide consigned education, not adoption. Real stories and places with buried historical significance of entrusted education in Poland, an orphan who has to go back to North Korea and the humanity of the Polish people are valuable and should be preserved as unique local cultural resources. As a Korean citizen on the Korean Peninsula, it is necessary to have an opportunity to comfort, sympathize and embrace orphans who were hurt by the war. Therefore, in this paper, as a way to restore the identity of the places where the Korean War orphans stayed and to create new cultural values by discovering and rediscovering historical and cultural resources, we proposed historical tourism using mobile applications by collecting and analyzing photos, video materials, documentaries, and other materials that recorded the process of life from the time of the war to Poland. Through contents, we can promote the hidden value of historical culture, give educational significant influence of lesson, and contribute to revitalizing the local economy by enhancing the value of the region and turning it into a city brand of healing. Furthermore, it could be a way to empathize, console and heal the hearts of Korean War orphans at that time.
