국문 초록

임상의약학 연구에서 자료분석의 경우, 의학적 또는 생물학적 메카니즘의 이해가 필수적이다. 특히, 환자의 치료과정에서 발생하는 관측연구 자료의 경우 확률화의 어려움, 많은 결측치, 특정 질병으로 인한 적은 표본 수 등 다양한 문제들이 발생하기 쉽다. 따라서 이러한 자료를 분석하는 통계분석자는 주어진 의학적 치료과정을 최대한 이해하고 이를 자료 분석에 반영해야 할 필요가 있다. 또한, 이를 전제로 가장 적합한 통계 분석 방법을 모색함으로써, 임상연구자 또는 의학자들이 분석 결과를 보다 쉽게 해석할 수 있도록 해야 할 것이다. 본 논문에서는 관찰 자료의 특성과 분석방법에 대해 소개하고, 의학연구에서 가장 많이 사용되는 분석기법 중 하나인 생존분석을 통해 의학적 메카니즘에 기반한 분석적 접근 방법을 살펴보고자 한다.

영문 초록

In clinical medical/or pharmaceutical study, it is essential to understand medical/or biological mechanism for analysis of these data. In case of observational data for patient therapy, especially, there are may various problems such as the probability difficulty, lots of missing values, and small sample sizes from special disease. Thus, the statisticians have to consider medical therapy process as much as possible in data analysis also persue the most appropriate statistical method based on this procedure. Thereby it can give a lot of help to clinician/or medical doctor for understanding the analysis results easily. In this paper, we review the properties of observational data and analytical method for this data. Also, we attempt to explain the analytical approach based on medical mechanism through the survival analysis that is one of statistical methods frequently used for medical research.
