국문 초록

주식투자의 매매전략을 수립할 때에는 추세지표, 변동성 지표, 거래량 지표 등을 복합적으로 결합하여 사용하는 것이 일반적이다. 그 중 볼린저밴드는 통계학의 신뢰구간 개념을 적용시킨 매매전략으로 일정한 기간 동안의 주식가격 평균을 중심으로 밴드 폭을 가감하여 형성되며 밴드 폭은 주식가격의 표준편차에 일정한 상수를 곱하여 결정된다. 그러나 이 상수는 고려하고 있는 기간에 따라서 경험적이고 임의적으로 결정되며 이의 근본적인 이유는 주식가격이 정규분포보다 꼬리가 두꺼운 분포 형태를 보이고 있기 때문이다. 본 논문은 주식가격의 비정규성 현상을 해결할 수 있는 한 방법을 제시하고 한국 종합지수에 적용한 예시를 다루고 있다

영문 초록

There are mean trend index, volatility index, and volume indicator relating to stock price. In general, buy-sell strategies are based on the complex combinations of those indexes and indicators. Bollinger Band is the most statistical strategy and it is determined adding and subtracting band width around the mean trend of current stock price, and the width is determined by multiplying a constant to the standard deviation of stock price. However this constant is empirically and arbitrarily determined by investor since the distribution of stock price has heavier tails than normal distribution. In this paper, parameterizing and normalizing process are proposed to solve nonnormal behavior of stock price, and KOSPI data are used for the illustration.
