국문 초록

최고경영자들이 정보기술 투자에 대한 확실한 성과를 측정하고자 하지만 이를 충족할 수 있는 계량적이고 직접적인 기업의 성과를 측정하는 것은 매우 어려운 과업이다. 이에 많은 학자들과 실무자들이 정보기술에 대한 투자로 인한 조직의 성과를 학문적으로 이론화하고 실증적으로 측정하고자 한 노력들을 바탕으로 본 연구는 ERP 시스템 도입을 통한 기업의 마케팅 성과를 측정하였다. 본 연구가 갖는 가장 중요한 의의는 기업으로서는 대표적인 정보기술 투자라고 할 수 있는 ERP 시스템의 도입과 기업의 성과 중 마케팅 성과간의 관계를 고찰한다는 것이다. 특히 수도권에 비하여 정보화 마인드나 투자규모가 적은 부산지역의 제조기업의 ERP 시스템을 분석대상으로 하기 때문에 본 연구의 실증분석 결과, ERP 시스템의 도입과 마케팅 성과간의 관계가 유의한 것으로 도출되어 향후 정보기술 투자에 대한 최고경영자들의 마인드에 큰 변화를 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

영문 초록

This study was empirically examined an effect of ERP system and its information quality on the use of information from ERP system by using the empirical data of Korean firms. And another effect of information use from ERP system on marketing performances survey on MIS was conducted for the marketing strategy. And several hypotheses were established and examined empirically from that structural equation model. The hypotheses of this study were as follows: Hypothesis 1a: ERP system quality may influence positively upon information use from ERP system. Hypothesis 1b: The quality of ERP system may influence positively upon user s satisfaction of ERP system. Hypothesis 2a: Information quality from ERP system may influence positively upon ERP information use from ERP system. Hypothesis 2b: Information quality from ERP system may influence positively upon user s satisfaction of ERP system. Hypothesis 3: The use of ERP system may influence positive mutually upon user s satisfaction of ERP system. Hypothesis 4: The use of ERP system may influence positively upon marketing performances. Hypothesis 5: The user s satisfaction of ERP system may influence positively upon marketing performances. After examining those hypotheses based on the collected data through the survey, hypothesis 1a, 1b, 2a, 2b, 3, 4, 5 were accepted with the statistical analysis. As the result of statistical analysis, ERP system and its information quality influenced upon the use of information from ERP system positively, and those information use influenced upon marketing performances as the effectiveness of ERP system introductions. In conclusion, the effectiveness of ERP system must be evaluated within structural relationship among ERP system and its information quality, the use of information from ERP, and marketing performances. Additionally, the result of this research has founded the fact that ERP system and its information quality are important as elements of successful ERP system. As the limitation of this study, however, the external validity of results is relatively weak because of the small size of sample and population despite of full collecting of sample. Nevertheless, this empirical study may be significant as an exploratory research establishing the structural foundation for the marketing performance of ERP system with variables of ERP system qualitative characteristics. Also, it is remaining topic that the empirical verification of differences in ERP system performances or the evaluation of ERP system by the synthesized model considering environmental and organizational variables.
