임계값에 따른 예측정확도 개선에 관한 연구

국문 초록

고객의 프로파일과 이들 정보를 바탕으로 사용자가 선호할 만한 상품을 추천하는 시스템이 전자상거래에서 상용화되고 있다. 이 시스템 중 협력적 필터링을 이용한 추천시스템은 자신의 프로파일 뿐 아니라 다른 고객의 프로파일도 함께 사용하므로 추천 범위가 넓어 효과적으로 사용되고 있다. 하지만 고객의 응답 선호도가 적을 경우 추천시스템의 성능을 저하시킬 수 있다. 이러한 희소성의 문제는 선호도 평가 자료에 나타난 아이템의 수보다 고객이 선호한 아이템의 수가 현저히 적기 때문에 발생한다. 새로운 고객의 경우는 선호한 아이템의 응답수가 적기 때문에 희소성의 문제가 발생하며, 이때 이웃 고객을 선정할 수 없어 추천의 신뢰에 문제가 생긴다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 희소성의 문제를 해결하기 위해 희소성이 있는 아이템을 조사하여 이들 희소성 아이템이 MAE에 영향이 있음을 밝혔다. 그리고 희소성을 완화하여 예측의 정확도를 높이는 방법으로 임계값을 사용하여 선호도가 적은 아이템에 대해 희소성을 최소화하는 연구와 이에 따라 희소성과 MAE의 값을 개선하는 방법을 제시하여 MAE가 향상됨을 밝혔다.

영문 초록

The system which recommends the goods based on the customer s profile and information to the customers is used online market. Collaborative filtering recommender system is used effectively because it uses not only one s own profile but also the other customers profiles, therefore it has wide range of recommendation. However, if the preference of clients is not enough, it might reduce the efficiency of the recommender system. The problem of sparsity occurs because item s quantity which preferred by customers is remarkably lower than the quantity which appears on the evaluation data. In the case of new customers, the problem of sparsity is occurred, because the feedbacks of items are very low. At the same time it can not be chosen the neighboring customers, therefore it can not be trusted. In this paper, it has been researched and prove that the items which have sparsity have effect on MAE in order to solve the problem of sparsity. Moreover, it has been proved that MAE has been improved with the method of increasing the accuracy of prediction by lessen the sparsity that indicate the method which improve the value of MAE, according to the research that minimize the sparsity of items which has low preference.
