국문 초록

오늘날 조소는 전통적인 구분인 조각과 소조의 범주를 넘어 다양한 재료와 기술의 융합을 통해 새로운 조형성을 가진, 확장된 개념의 입체표현으로 변화하였다. 입체표현은 재료의 다양성에 대한 능동적 수용, 새로운 공간 개념의 확립, 다양한 테크놀로지와의 융합을 통해 끊임없이 변화해 왔으며, 현대 조형 예술의 중요한 축으로 자리해 오고 있다. 이에 본고에서는 전통적 조소에서부터 현대의 입체표현에 이르기까지 특징적인 변화에 따른 개념 변화를 살펴보았다. 이를 바탕으로 입체표현의 체계를 분류하고 미술교육에서 입체표현 교육 수행의 방향성을 고찰하였다. 이러한 논의는 미술교육에서 입체표현 교육의 다양성과 변화를 모색할 수 있는 기제로 작용하게 할 수 있다는 측면에서 의미를 갖는다. 동시에 현대미술에 대한 이해를 도모할 수 있는 계기로 작용하게 할 수 있다는 측면에서도 유의미하다.

영문 초록

Nowadays, the sculpture has evolved from the traditional classification of sculpture and modeling to the three-dimensional with various formativeness as well as the extended concept through the blending of various materials and techniques. 3-D expression has been continuously changed through the active acceptance on the variety of material, establishment of new spatial concept, and fusion with new technologies, and it has become an important part of modern sculpture arts. Thus in this article, the change of concept has been examined in accordance with the characteristics change from the traditional sculpture to the modern 3-D expression. Based on this examination, the system of 3-D expression is classified and the directional characteristics of 3-D expression education in Arts education has been examined. These discussions have a meaning to be applied as a mechanism to seek the change and diversity of 3-D expression education. At the same time, it is also significant that this can be applied as an opportunity to seek the understanding of modern arts.
