푸드카빙데코레이션 교육생의 인구통계학적특성에 따른 우울과 자아존중감의 변화와 차이에 관한 탐색적 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 푸드카빙데코레이션 교육생의 인구통계학적 특성에 따라서 우울증과 자아존중감이 어떻게 변화하는지 살펴보고자 하였다. 또한, 푸드카빙데코레이션 교육생의 인구통계학적특성에 따라서 우울증과 자아존중감의 변화량에 어떤 차이가 있는지 살펴보고자 하였다. 본 연구의 설문조사는 2019년 1월 1일부터 2019년 12월 31일까지 약 1년간 수업이 진행됐던 고등학교, 대학교, 개인공방, 학원 등에서 설문조사가 실시되었고, 총 600부를 배부하여 528부를 최종분석에 사용하였다. 분석결과, 성별에 따라서 남녀 모두 푸드카빙데코레이션 교육을 받은 후 우울증이 감소하였고, 자아존중감은 높아진 것으로 나타났고, 남녀에 따라 △평균값은 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 연령대에 따라서 10대의 경우에는 푸드카빙데코레이션 교육 후 우울증이 유의하게 감소하지는 않는 것으로 나타났고, 학력에 따라서도 고등학교 재학중인 경우 유의한 수준으로 우울증이 감소되지는 않는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The aim of this study was to examine how depression and self-esteem of food carving decoration trainees change and how the changes in depression and self-esteem differ depending on their demographic characteristics. To this end, a survey was conducted at the high schools, universities, private workshops, and academies where food carving decoration classes were held for one year from January 1st to December 31st of 2019. A total of 600 copies of questionnaire were distributed to food carving decoration trainees, out of which 528 copies were used in the final analysis. As a result of analyzing the data collected from the survey, a decrease in depression and an increase in self-esteem were found in trainees of both genders after receiving the food-carving decoration training. It was also found that there is no difference in the mean value of △ in both depression and self-esteem between male and female trainees. On the other hand, analysis by age group showed that depression did not decrease significantly after food-carving decoration training in teenagers, and analysis by educational background showed that depression did not decrease at a significant level for trainees attending high school.
