국문 초록

한국 암각화는 수렵이 주제인 것과 상징적 기호가 중심인 것으로 나눌 수 있다. 이외 수렵과 상징적 기호가 한 화면에 새겨진 복합형 암각화가 있다. 암각화 자료를 디지털 콘텐츠화 하면 수렵 암각화를 이용한 체험형, 상징 암각화를 활용한 소통형, 복합형 암각화를 이용한 역사복원형 전시와 교육이가능해진다. 수렵형, 상징형, 복합협 암각화는 어느 유적으로나 체험형, 소통형, 역사복원형 전시ㆍ교육을 시도할 수 있다. 박물관과 미술관에서 암각화 콘텐츠를 기반으로 전시 및 교육 프로그램을 개발하는 것도 가능하다. 암각화가 미술의 한 장르인 것을 감안한 예술 주제 전시 및 교육 프로그램을 개발할 경우, 참여자로하여금 모바일 앱, 혹은 소프트웨어를 활용한 창작을 체험하게 하는 것이 바람직하다. 암각화 제작 과정이 종교제의의 일부이고 암각화 유적이 종교제의가 이루어지는 현장이었음을고려하여 이를 주제로 한 전시 및 교육 프로그램을 개발할 수도 있다. 이 경우 소프트웨어및 모바일 앱에는 전시 및 교육 참여자가 암각화 제의의 주관자가 되어 신과 소통하는 경험을 가능하게 하는 기능이 갖추어져 있어야 한다. 암각화 유적의 입지가 지니는 경관적 특성은 시간여행을 주제로 한 전시 및 교육 프로그램도 개발할 수 있게 한다. 암각화를 통한 시간여행 프로그램이 개발되어 전시 및 교육 참여자의 역사 복원, 문화체험, 과거와의 소통이 이루어지도록 도와야 한다.

영문 초록

Korean petroglyphs can be divided into two categories: those focused on hunting and those focused on abstract symbols. Digitalizing petroglyph contents would allow for experience-based, communicative, and historical restoration education and exhibitions utilizing each type of the petroglyph. All three different types of petroglyphs can lead to experience-based, communicative, and historical restoration exhibition and education. The digitalized contents would also allow the development of new exhibition and education programs. In exhibition and education programs based on petroglyphs as a genre of art, the digital softwares and mobile apps would allow the participants to take the creative process into their own hands. The technology would also allow curators to plan a program that highlights the creation of petroglyphs as part of a religious activity and the petroglyphs as the site of religious ceremonies. For example, the digital softwares and mobile apps would allow the participants to take the fictional role of the leader in the petroglyph ceremonies to communicate with the deities. The environmental characteristics of petroglyph sites would also allow for education programs that takes the viewers back in time. The digital softwares would allow the participants to experience history and culture as well as communicate with the past through the petroglyphs.
