국문 초록

중국 정부는 다양한 중국의 전통문화유산을 세계화하는데 주력하고 있다. 촉도는 그러한 중국의 세계화 전략에 따라 유네스코 세계문화유산 등재를 계획하고 있는 곳이다. 이 시점에서 촉도로 가는 어려움을 읊은 이백의 시 「蜀道難」은 더욱 주목을 끈다. 이백이 이 시에서 촉국의 개국 시조라 언급한 잠총은 촉국에 양잠 문화를 형성한 신화적 인물이다. 1986년에 四川省 廣漢市에서 발굴된 삼성퇴 유적이 바로 이 촉국 문화와 개국 시조 잠총에 관련되는 것으로 알려지면서, 잠총은 신화적 인물을 실제 역사화하려는 움직임에 더욱 적절한 테마로 주목받고 있다. 중국의 많은 신화들이 우리나라 신화와 관련되어 있다. 그리하여 중국 문인들 뿐만 아니라 한국의 많은 문인들도 잠총 신화에 대하여 다양하게 인식하고 있다. 특히 양잠 문화는 우리 신라와도 밀접한 관계가 있다. 향후 연구가 잠총과 연계된 한국의 문화에 주목해야 할 이유이다.

영문 초록

The Chinese government is focusing on globalizing various Chinese traditional cultural heritages. The road to Sichuan is where the UNESCO World Heritage listing is planned in accordance with China s globalization strategy. At this point, 「The road to Sichuan is difficult」,the poem by Lee Baek, which recites the difficulty of getting to the touch, attracts more attention. In this poem, CanCong mentioned as the founder of Sichuan nation, is a mythical figure who formed a culture of silkworms in Sichuan nation. As the remains of Sanxingdui, which were unearthed in 1986 in Sichuan shěng Gwang han shi, are reportedly related to Sichuan nation culture and CanCong, the country s founder. CanCong is drawing more attention as a more appropriate theme for the move to make the mythical figure a real history. Many myths in China are related to our country s myths. In particular, sericulture caused by CanCong is deeply related to our Shilla kingdom. Taking the view that these figures are rarely studied in our country, I analyzed CanCong myths in relation to the Chinese sericulture, starting with the Chinese Mythology viewl, and finally looked at the Korean and Chinese literati’s perception about CanCong. CanCong s Sichuan nation, which had developed sericulture , might have been an important area that opened the Silk Road between East and West. And those sericulture and the Silk Road are very closely related to our culture. This is why future research should pay attention to Korean culture linked to CanCong.
