栗谷四書諺解와 校正廳四書諺解 현토의 비교 연구

국문 초록

본 논문은 經書 諺解書의 내용을 본격적으로 연구하기 위한 전단계로 栗谷四書諺解와 校正廳四書諺解의 현토를 비교하였다. 두 언해서의 현토에는 약간의 차이가 있었다. 율곡사서언해는 현토 표기의 규칙에 일관성이 다소 부족하며, 교정청사서언해는 전체적 일관성을 거의 보완하였다. 율곡사서언해의 현토는 經文의 구두 자리를 명확하게 표시해주는 장점이 있고, 교정청사서언해는 허사의 영향 범위를 가능한 한 명확하게 표시해주는 장점이 있다. 원문의 구조 분석과 의미 해석에 있어서도 약간의 차이들이 있었다. 두 언해 사이에는 미묘하지만 공자를 이해하는데 있어 자못 의미심장해 보이는 시각차가 있을 가능성이 탐지되었다. 공자를 이해하는 시각에 교정청사서언해가 조금 더 절대적이고 권위적인 모습을 보이고 있기 때문이다. 이 역시 두 언해서의 현토를 반드시 면밀하게 비교 검토해 보아야 할 필요성과 직결된 부분이다. 두 언해서의 현토 비교를 통해 현토는 원문의 문법과 문형을 분석한 값임을 알 수 있었고, 따라서 원문 정리에 현토의 성과를 반영할 필요가 있다고 제언하였다. 이를 통해 중국과 일본의 여러 표점들과 비교되면 각 나라의 원문 이해의 시각이 요연하게 드러나는 지점이 있으리라 전망한다.

영문 초록

This paper compares Yulgok s annotation of the Four Books(栗谷四書諺解) and Kyojeongcheong s annotation of the Four Books of commentary(校正廳四書諺解) as a preliminary study to study the contents of the annotation of the Four Books in earnest. There are some differences in commentary in both documents. Yulgok s annotation of the Four Books is somewhat inconsistent with the conventions of commentary notation, and Kyojeongcheong s annotation of the Four Books is almost entirely consistent. commentary of Yulgok s annotation of the Four Books has the advantage of clearly displaying the punctuation of the sentence. And Kyojeongcheong s annotation of the Four Books of commentary has the advantage of indicating the extent of the effect of vanity as clearly as possible. There were also some differences in the structural analysis and interpretation of the text. The two documents showed subtle but significant differences. Kyojeongcheong s annotation of the Four Books is a little more absolute and authoritative in understanding Confucius. Commentary is a value analysis of the syntax and sentence form of the original text. Therefore, it is necessary to reflect the performance of commentary in the text. Comparing this with the various marks in China and Japan will give a clear view of the original texts of each country.
