교육대학교의 발명교육 관련 교육과정 분석

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 교육대학교 발명교육 관련 교육과정의 내용 체계와 운영을 분석하는 것으로 이를 통해 초등 교사 발명교육 교육과정 구성의 기초 자료를 제공하고자 한다. 이 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 전국 10개 교육대학교, 제주대학교 교육대학 및 한국교원대학교 초등교육과의 교육과정을 대상으로 문헌분석과 조사 연구를 수행하였다. 수집된 교육과정 관련 문헌과 자료를 고찰한 후 개발한 코딩 양식에 따라 코딩하고, 그 결과를 분석 및 종합하였다. 주된 연구 결과를 중심으로 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교육대학교 학부 및 대학원에서의 발명교육은 실과교육과의 교양 및 심화과정 교과, 대학원의 발명교육 전공과 실과교육 전공을 중심으로 이루어지고 있으나 다른 학과나 전공에서의 개설도 증가하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 발명교육 전공 대학원을 두 학과 이상에서 운영하는 경우 실과교육과 교수진과 과학교육과, 사회교육과 또는 미술교육과의 교수진이 함께 참여하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 발명교육 전공 대학원의 교육과정을 발명교사 교육 표준에 따라 분석한 결과 대체로 발명교육학보다는 발명내용학 관련 강좌의 비중이 높은 편이었다. 넷째, 발명교육 전공 대학원 교육과정의 교과목 편성에서 ‘발명학습 · 평가’, ‘발명교육 시설 및 환경’ 및 ‘발명과 기술 경영’영역 관련 교과목이 미흡한 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purposes of this study were to analyze the contents and management of invention education curriculum and provide the guidelines for constructing an invention education curriculum in National Universities of Education. The methodologies of this study were content analysis and survey. Course catalogues were collected and analyzed from 12 National Universities of Education. The research findings were as follows. First, the Practical Arts Education was more focused on invention education than other departments in undergraduate and graduate programs. Otherwise, it was shown that some courses were offered for invention education from other departments. Second, it was revealed that some invention education program for graduate school was managed by faculties form several departments such as Practical Arts Education, Social Science Education, Fine Arts Education and so on. Third, the courses related to subject pedagogy were allotted more than those of subject content. Fourth, it was required that some courses should be offered for teacher education such as learning and evaluation methods in invention education, educational facilities and environment for invention education, invention and technology management.
