청소년의 비행 문제 감소를 위한 온라인 메타버스 형식 기반 해결 중심 집단 프로그램의 개발

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 중학생 비행 청소년의 비행 행동 감소 및 사회적 문제해결능력 향상을 위한 온라인 메타버스 형식 해결 중심 집단 프로그램을 개발하고 그 집단 프로그램의 효과를 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위해 온라인 메타버스 내에서 진행할 수 있는 중학생용 해결 중심 집단 프로그램을 개발하여 수행하였고, 그 결과를 기존에 개발된 오프라인 중학생용 해결 중심 집단 프로그램의 수행 결과와 비교하였다. 먼저, 본 연구의 대상은 충청북도 내 중학교에서 비행 문제로 의뢰된 60명의 남자 청소년이다. 청소년들은 실험집단인 온라인 메타버스 형식 기반 해결 중심 집단 프로그램에 30명, 비교집단인 기존 오프라인 해결 중심 집단 프로그램에 무선적으로 배정되었다. 집단 프로그램 효과를 알아보기 위해 비행행동, 사회적 문제해결능력, 정서조절능력을 각 프로그램 전과 후에 측정하였다. 그 결과, 사전 검사에 비해 사후 검사에서 사회적 문제해결능력, 정서조절능력이 모든 집단에서 통계적으로 유의미하게 증가하였고, 비행행동도 유의미하게 감소하였다. 그리고 실험집단의 집단 프로그램 만족도가 비교집단의 만족도에 비해 통계적으로 유의미하게 높았다. 이러한 결과는 온라인 메타버스 형식 기반 해결 중심 집단 프로그램이 기존의 오프라인 해결 중심 집단 프로그램을 충분히 대체할 수 있다는 것을 의미한다. 온라인 메타버스 형식 해결 중심 집단 프로그램은 기존의 오프라인 프로그램보다 공간 제약 문제와 경제성과 흥미도 면에서 이점을 가질 것으로 사료된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to develop a solution focused group program in a metaverse format to reduce delinquent behavior and improve social problem solving skills among middle school delinquents and to test the effectiveness of the group program. To this end, a solution focused group program for middle school students that can be conducted within an online metaverse was developed and implemented, and the results were compared with the results of a previously developed offline solution focused group program for middle school students. First, the subjects of this study were 60 male adolescents who were referred to a middle school in Chungcheongbuk-do for delinquency. Thirty adolescents were randomly assigned to the experimental group, an online metaverse based solution focused group program, and 30 to the comparison group, an existing offline solution focused group program. To determine the effectiveness of the group program, delinquent behavior, social problem solving skills, and emotional regulation were measured before and after each group program. The results showed statistically significant increases in social problem solving and emotional regulation in all groups from pretest to posttest, and significant decreases in delinquent behavior. In addition, satisfaction with the group therapy was statistically significantly higher in the experimental group than in the comparison group. These results suggest that the online metaverse based solution focused group program is a viable substitute for traditional offline solution focused group program. Online metaverse based solution focused group program may have advantages over traditional offline group program in terms of space constraints, affordability, and interest.
